The problems with adhesive is infuriating! I also had that problem on my plant shelf. What I noticed was that the areas of adhesive that was exposed to the light was where the adhesive was failing. We thought maybe it was heating it up and it lost its bond. Solved by keeping plants over the spot where there's adhesive underneath but definitely a pain! (the lights crashing down made my dog extremely fearful of the plant shelf, not good!)
Why do you have it in front of window it will affect humidity and temperature. I have experienced this myself it would do better if it was away from window
Cold temperatures at night in winter and root rot because cold and wet don't mix lol and in summer lower humidity and too hot in cabinet plants drying out too fast
You may notice in summer too much light on plants and leaf burn because of sunlight and growligjts will be too much I would put on a wall that doesn't face the outside and I think it will do better you really don't need grow lights and sunlight one or the other is plenty.
This all makes sense. This glass door is less than 5 ft from a dividing wall and also a huge canopy tree that blocks a lot of light. But I will for sure keep an eye on this!! Thank you!

Just because I like the way it looks there ☺️ it does get temp higher in the early afternoons but not too hot so I think it’s fine
