I know this is a late reply, but I had the same problem. Using a multimeter, turning on the flasher signal and tracing the wires on the stock connector, I managed to correct the pinout on the units so it goes to the turn signals. For my modules, there is only a ground and signal (brown and white) rest of the wires are just passthrough. I went through 3 different brands, I-JDM and two other Chinese brands that is supposedly compatible before realizing this. I hope this is useful info for anyone wondering.

How did you get the Brake lights on while turn Signal on? Thank you
What? The brake lights are the rear blinkers
Check your taillights model number before you buy this kind of module. There are different modules for different taillights models.
the same thing happened to me i tried several and none worked
Are you fix that problem? I am have that problem I think it’s configured code is different
I didn't fix the problem, I think the harness is defective
@@eltalivan3804 writing company why buy and he tell me problem is different configure China to vehicle euro and my car is style US
where did you buy from?
On an app called "Banggood" those harnesses came from China but doesn't work.
You got wrong connectors , check tailights number. Green plugs fit only with audi's green connectors. Yours are black , so you bought wrong one.
