- In this video i explore an abandoned house which has been completely abandoned and left to fall into a sad state of disrepair.. amazingly absolutely everything has been left behind from the previous owner.. this make me believe that maybe something sad happened to them.. and if there was any family or relatives why did they not return?.. Incredible find, some of these rooms look like someone stepped out just a moment ago.
Whow Colin & co yous keep finding these hidden treasure troves, this is better than watching TV show through the keyhole, who'd lived in a house like this.
Armed with an address you can easily find the registered owner through the Land Registry. Piecing together the story after that won't be easy or indeed possible most of the time I'm sure, but there may be times when it's fruitful. Maybe give that a go Colin? Many would like to know what the circumstances were/are that surround this delightful home.
I do not know if i still want to do this as 55 and no money at present but at one time knew that if i found an old property with a garden that i could do the work on i woukd need to ask the land registrar. Not to go in without making the enquiry.
So sad it breaks my heart , I wish we knew why its all left 😔
What a truly beautiful home that was. Those attic walls were unusual style. I can't believe that you didn't check what was contained in the attic newspaper! You normally place things back so carefully even newspaper, so that must have had something in it that had been wrapped for protection. Such a well kept home too, those downstairs rooms were immaculate, no creases on the chairs or sofa covers. It reminded me of my grandparents house, the front room was kept for best and was permanently locked. In all the years I went there, that room was never unlocked except to get seriously out of date Tizer for me, Noone was permitted to sit in the room. This house here seemed to have friendlier, less austerity in the long gone occupants but with pride in their home. On the overgrown footpath where you did the intro underneath the ferns and brambles daffodils tried to find their way to the light. Someone planted them by that path to greet visitors years ago. A beautiful amazing place that's just crying out to be restored and have life again within the walls ❤️ A wonderful explore thank you.

Amazing. It blows my mind how life just stopped for this person. They had even taken delivery of a brand new washer, still wrapped downstairs.

Yes, I saw that too. I’m wondering if the owner was alone and passed suddenly…or had to go into hospital and then residential care without any immediate family. The house may be structurally unsound and can’t be sold but either way, so very sad to think it was a beautiful home once and is now unloved and falling into ruin 🥺

I think that's why it is so important to leave a will.All those fabulous treasures will be lost ,especially the rocking horse 🐎🐎🐎.There must be somebody from the family somewhere .
Absolutely incredible. Last owner clearly died suddenly. Mystery why no relatives. I think it would be respectful to rescue whatever is salvageable and give these items a new life.

Makes you wonder what happened. Really strange with laundry in washer. What date was on the mail by the door? You could also see names on the mail and maybe figure out what happened. Love the rocking horse!!

A beautiful house , this explore reminds me of my grandparents old house . With grand organ and items left behind when they sadly passed away .
Does not look very dusty, and there is water drops in the washer, does not look to be a very long time since they left

- I absolutely love exploring modern ruins, and as someone with adhd modern ruins are something of a sanctuary for me - I experience a form of mind-quietude that I rarely can obtain, really only during urbex or forest bathing (all the moreso if the two are combined via nature encroachment)... watching your channel provides excellent documentation and helps me have a taste of the experience from home. I truly appreciate the reverence that you show these places. Thank you again.

Very sad - the way things are left; like the laundry in the washing machine -shoes next next the bed and the laundry in the utility room half sorted - gives me the feeling who ever left on that last day wasn't intending to not return. So strange no-one has taken care of it.

Fascinating. Given all the mold, it might have been a good idea to wear a face mask and gloves. Also, in terms of dating the closure of the house, the mail on the floor by the front door might give you a pretty good idea.

Great Video if theres a Topgear Scalextric with the Stig then it would be 2002 onwards as thats when that era of Topgear started to judge how long its been empty for

6:16 the Hi-Fi system isn't "a Philips one", it's obviously a mixed brand seperates system with an Ariston turntable, Philips CD player, Marantz cassette deck and Kenwood amplifier (not sure what brand the speakers are).

This place is just stunning. It looks like the owners just stepped out a few minutes ago. No one has touched this place since. Such a shame.
Best one yet, this was a beautiful house, definitely had a feminine feel to it, so tastefully put together. It does look like she left in a hurry and you have to ask the question, why? Great explore, a first I think and just hope no-one else sees it, it has to stay untouched, it would be heart breaking to see it plundered and vandalised.
When I see clothes drying on the airer, full washing machine, and the towel with toothpaste on top etc, I suddenly feel really really sad and think the person probably died very suddenly that day, it was a perfectly normal day and suddenly he was gone.

This is an incredible find! PLEASE don’t pass the location on to ANYONE! So much you showed us is very valuable and if someone with devious intent came upon it, the wall surrounding that safe would be destroyed and all of the other treasure (the horse for one obvious example) would be gone within days!
You are so respectful when you explore, my friend. You replace things where you found them when you’ve handled them, you leave everything in its original place. You don’t show photos, papers or anything else that might identify the owners/location. I love going exploring with “my” Bearded Man! Thanks for taking me along. ❤

That was once a beautiful house I think and the people had good taste too (and were probably quite well off). How sad to see such deterioration.
Properties like this are sometimes the subject of sibling or other family rivalry which takes years to sort out. In the meantime, the house just deteriorates to the detriment of all concerned.

It really makes me sad how these places are just left. What a beautiful beautiful house! Someone is responsible, even if it is a bank, they should do a house clearance and sell the property/land because someone should be enjoying these things, especially that rocking horse. It reminded me of my grandmother's house, she had an organ too so I wonder if they played for the local church like she did, the chairs too had that feel to them. Anyway! Great video as always!! Absolutely incredible to see that house as if the owners had just walked out and never looked back. 14:16 Lime mortar plaster on the slates between the lathes was quite common on old houses, some people call it back pointing and others called it rendering, different parts of the country called it different names. Sometimes it had horse hair mixed into it to help it bind together.

That was heart breaking, a home like that abandoned and imagining in the twenty plus intervening years how many people could have been happy there looking after it. Good explore though.
I hope it doesn't get ruined by the graffiti and smash up brigade. So many things are still untouched.
I always wonder what happened to the people who lived in these abandoned homes with all their gear still inside.

I do like that you are very respectful of documenting these places. However, i would like to say, please slow down some when filming. Example: you say, "Look at that!" But just one second later you pan away. I can't view it like you can, so i have to back the video up. A lot of times i am having to choose to back up the video or just miss it. 😕
