There have always been toxic, controlling and manipulative people in the world and they often hold positions of authority. They are our teachers, business leaders, law makers and defenders and most definitely political leaders. Equity is for everyone from a biblical standpoint. It has often been said that "The only way for evil to succeed is for good people to do nothing." Therefore, equity is suffocated by our silence and inaction. When we live or work alongside of those who abuse their position of power and those around them by their maladaptive personality patterns, it is incumbent upon us all to speak out. The more we dismiss, deny and disregard these types of behaviors the more it becomes permissible in society. Dehumanization has caused the greatest atrocities in history. It's not ok to be a silent witness. There must be an end to disregarding the obvious signs and support of these types of individuals by promoting and voting them into positions of greater power. This requires uncomfortable and unpopular action. And is where real change will emanate from. Continued and Greater Blessings, Rabbi, and all those who seek positive and productive change.

Where there is human intention, there is always the capacity to carry abuse/sin into the situation, or holiness/love.. It's always the two forces that live in us. I hope we all will grow more like Messiah, Yeshua and chose a sacrificial love for others, even those we consider enemies. Easy to say, even harder to do. May HaShem bless us with his wisdom.

Minorities have opportunities for free education. It still comes down to individual effort. Not having both parents around at 75% hurts any person because parenting and mentoring helps keep kids on track. Black African immigrants are among the most successful in the US - I don’t buy that there isn’t opportunity because of race or even economic situations. I came from a dirt poor family and made it just fine as did many people I know of all races. If there are successful people who look like you and you aren’t one of them look in the mirror and instead of complaining get to work bettering yourself

I've been caught up in these thoughts about not being capable enough to be what the world demands, but as I reflected upon my history, I see that we're made blinded by the systems here. We start being able to see when we have these deep conversations with one another from different backgrounds and perspectives. The world can be changed if people wake up and be as they truly are, not as they were programmed to think. We can only achieve real change if people are willing to go within and uncover their true selves and learn to be of pure love. Then they grow on their paths, and when many people do this, we start seeing the world change. I've had a really good teacher show me the light. We need people to return to light.

Humans made themselves gods. If people truly lived by the will of the Heavenly Father, we wouldn't see a world full of rebellion, oppression, hatred and suffering. People are so blind to the truth, love is without condition. People have given themselves to doing evil against one another, and abusing the systems that were supposed to protect people. We cannot live righteously if people find ways to turn the world into a shallow and superficial world where people are dead inside.

You make a good point... I am unwanted in my own faith
The Reform say I am too Conservative, Conservative say I am too Orthodox and the Orthdox say I am too Reform
Rabbis' will not bother with me
I watch your podcasts and wonder why when Torah says
as you say Rabbi, why each sect of Judaism seems anti-Semitic toward each other... rather than interpreting Torah to be inclusive of even other Jews I, a woman who considers herself a follower of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, loves the study of Torah is not wanted in any sect of Judaism
The Chabad Rabbi won't... the Reform Rabbi won't and the Conservative Rabbi won't... even speaking to a Paster I am told I am uniquely different because I consider EVERY living, breathing entity was created by God and therefore is equal regardless of any difference... if they are good to others and respectful of others
    Does this belief negate Judaism?

34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

A billion dollars went missing in a shuttered failed idea to build a wood chips power plant. 90% of the available rentals for college students is owned by three entities. Monopolies are real.. you would think these folks would figure out they only need one bed to sleep in and they ought to be working to help the people instead of getting drunk. How they ever let so much money infiltrated into the university system from foreign governments who promoted terrorism astounds me. I'm not alone in a lot of the common folks want the drunken leadership that is clear cutting off the last of our elder trees and selling our people out to go away from politics and find themselves in real productivity

The overarching message is noble .
However , it is based on one flawed premise ; That all DEI hires are based purely on their race . That they have no other qualification or merit other than their race .
The assumption that DEI hires inherently lack credentials is a blind spot in the argument against DEI .
It is very disingenuous and willfully obtuse to “assume” that those hires didn’t have the skill or credentials and hired purely based on the criterion of race/ “diversity quota”

A better solution is focusing on ECONOMIC opportunities rather than arbitrary quotas.
Quotas that give a minority preference over an equally or more qualified majority candidate are abhorrent and further divide by race. But not every DEI program is like that.
Many programs are based on ECONOMIC disparity that many minority groups face. You can say "we're all created equal" but that doesn't change the fact that certain minorities have had the systems rigged against them. There's a reason more blacks are poorer than any other race, and it's cause of generational and institutional racism. Redlining, generations of minorities not getting jobs they qualified for, lower wages cause they're black, fewer if any promotions, etc.
All that leads to them being ABLE to do a job but UNABLE TO AFFORD the opportunities and education. And then they just keep on being oppressed, regardless how many people say "we're all equal."
**The fact is, as far as money and opportunity is concerned.... we're not.**
So far the only strategy for dealing with real-world minority oppression by opponents of DEI has been "all lives matter... we're all equal. So shut up about it."
As in.... **pretend the problem doesn't exist.**
Again, I don't like DEI systems that put minorities in positions JUST BECAUSE they're minorities. But until we bridge that ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY gap, nobody's come up with a great solution that is perfectly fair all the time... and we likely never will.

One cannot serve two masters. Me n of gold are NOT men of God. It is obvious which master a one serves by witnessing them. Laws that serve gold are not the laws of God. Only evil money worshipers will tell you to fear God. God is love. It is foolish to fear that which is love. God says to follow no rule which renders you a fool.
