Bo needs to realize that she does not need the dark saber to lead. She has so much experience, probably more than any of the other Mando's. She is a total warrior and needs to be herself.

I'm wondering if Thrawn hired them in order to try to distract the New Republic by getting them to target the Mandalorians.
When The Armorer told Bo to take her helmet of I was wondering if she was going to take her own off and end up being some one Bo and maybe the rest of us know.
Colleague of mine said that they actually know each other (at least from seeing each other) because the Armorer was on Mandalore at the same time, and she was a follower of Maul who lead the Death Watch for a short time. thats why she has those spikes on her helmet.
Bo was raised ceremonial as a high caste princess and said so herself. She didn't feel it because it was kabuki to her class. She sees her culture now as deep, emotional and real at last. She believes and belongs. She reverences her culture now. She's on board at last.
My thought on the beskar fragment: we _know_ that Gideon had access to heaps of beskar looted from Mandalore. (After all, the Client, who worked for Gideon, paid Din with a whole camtono of beskar just to retrieve Grogu.) And as far as we know, Gideon's stash was never found.
Gideon' stash isn't found because it's in the hands of Grand Admiral Thrawn...
Remember where Din Djarin got his Beskar spear? From Ahsoka who got it from that Magistrate woman...who works for Thrawn...he's the mastermind of all this...

Bo-Katan respected the watch's beliefs and questioned the things she thought she knew after seeing the mythosaur. I think she genuinely liked being accepted by them and was truly trying to follow the way.
We also have no way of knowing how long she has been with them . Base on Elia Kane progressing to working in that office, it's been awhile since the previous episode.
The voice of the pirate captain wasn’t Peter Dinklage but was another GOT alumni. He was voiced by the big tall actor who played Xaro Xhoan Daxos, a powerful merchant prince of the great city of Qarth who proposed to Danny and promised her all the riches in his vault which proved to be empty.

When we first seen Bo Katan in The Mandlorian, she was adamant and forceful in wanting to reclaim her home planet for all Mandalorians, with her as ruler of Mandalore. The ambition led to her be alone in her family's castle, feeling angry and dejected. Bo helped Din reach the cleansing waters beneath Mandalore, and in doing so, also cleansed herself. Now, with no apparent want to continue her quest, she joined Jin's faction, and in doing so has become someone that other significant Mandalorians respect and believe is perhaps the only one capable of uniting the Mandalorians to retake their home planet. It's funny, because it mirrors real life in some ways that, no matter how hard you try to achieve something, you fail, yet, when you stop the pursuit the way that leads to you to successfully reaching your goal simply presents itself, with you in a much better position to reach that goal. My how Bo Katan has grown due to her experiences in, The Mandalorian.
The armorer has such a commanding voice. Just makes you wanna obey her lol
My first clue of the sequels was when Din and Mayfeld were having lunch with that imperial “But what they really want….is order.”
27:35 No, the Armourer did not blow her off in the last episode. Her answer was non-committal, but she wasn't completely dismissing what Bo was saying either. This episode clarified that she is open minded about the notion that a Mythisaur still exists.
I was wondering the same thing, as if saying, "This is way," is the Armorer's way of saying, "I'm busy, don't bother me right now."

Gorian Shard is played by Carey Jones, who also played Krrsantan in Boba Fett. But the voice of Shard is by Nonso Anozie.

the voice, Nonso Anozie actually was in Game of Thrones. He was the guy (Xaro Xhoan Daxos) in season 2 that Daenerys imprisoned in his empty vault after he took part in the plot to kidnap her dragons.
Wow! 😮 This episode had so much! It really showed the Mandalorians acting as a community for the greater good. I don't feel that the Armourer was dismissive of Bo-Katans revelation of her mythasaur encounter, more neutral whilst considering and now has had time to come to terms with what that means for her people, her Covert and all of Mandalore. Also... The Armorer is such an incredible character, a wise, even tempered but absolutely badass leader. Also, Paz's speech was brilliant, love the character development and he was very 'space marine' with his heavy artillery /mobile tank, gun, very cool! Just overall a brilliant episode! I am so excited to see the next few episodes!

I don't think the Armorer was dismissing Bo-Katan in the previous episode, not at all. I think the "One does not speak unless one knows." is applicable. The Armorer did not speak until she was sure what she thought was right. She's a very magical thinker, looked at all that happened, and waited for the covert to be ready to be exposed before talking with Bo-Katan.
“Keep the helmets on to keep it special.” Lol The intimacy of wearing the helmets.
The theory with Grogu is that when he is taken to Naboo by Kelleran it is the Gungans that end up hiding him because he wouldn't be safe at the Royal Palace.

character progression for a full crew of Mandalorians at once: from outcasts to refugees, to mercenaries, to peacekeepers, to royal guards hopefully next season.
Din gonna be like "You wanted a marshal, I brought you a whole garrison" to Karga.
Don't forget, Gideon is primarily responsible for the night of a thousand tears, when Mandalor fell. His people have lots of beskar in their possession.

the voice of the pirate is Nonsie Anosi. An english actor. As far as the end, I have 2 theories. First, Mandalorians took him to bring their own justice. After all he was responsible for annihilating Mandalore. The other is, his own people got him out. Thing is, his own people had Beskar if you recall season 1. It was how the remnant paid Din to get Grogu. I think the Armorer is seeing the writing on the wall regarding Bo Katan so she wants a unified Mandalore as much as Bo Katan does.
I really dug the last scene with lambda clas shuttle wreck. It totally gave me OG Alien vibes.
Gorian Shard's men fired at the Kowakian Monkey Lizards. So it's fitting that they helped the Mandalorians by pointing towards their "possible ambush" which they were smart enough to take heed 😅😏😉👍.
I think whats growing is Thrawn's Empire. Possibly a Chiss/Human Empire on the borders between the unkown regions and known space.
The whole Bo Katan/Armorer helmet on/off thing. It's like an old-time Catholic Dispensation. You're auto-forgiven certain sins.
Or it's like Cardinal Richelieu's letter from the _3 Musketeers_ story. "The bearer of this letter does what he does for the Good of France."

I feel like the armorer giving Vo her blessing was the confirmation she needed that she was destined to rule again. It lessens the possibility of her doing something sus to achieve that goal. The rest of this season is gonna be epic! There were rumors that Gideon is a Mandalorion and has super commandos. Oh also Din follows the old ways so the armoreer wouldn’t choose him. And he nodded his approval when Bo looked to him. Though I expect more conversations about it in the future.

I think the armorer has realized that in order to reunify the Mandalorian people they need to be more tolerant hence her talk of Bo Katan walking both worlds.
Sooo they just completely nerfed Mando’s ritual of bathing in the mines of Mandalor by allowing Bo to just walk around without her helmet? So is the creed just basically just “Words”

Love this episode so cool seeing Zeb( not really sure it's him) or a Lasat but still very cool . I'm glad The Mandalorians have a place they can call home now but it's time to unite Mandalore.

A puffer pig was used by Lando Calrissian in Rebels to find valuable ore more efficiently than droid locaters. It is similar to a blowfish in that in inflates itself as a defense against threats...
It was Zeb a member of the Ghost Crew along with Ahsoka and Sabine Wren (Mandalorian) who are both searching for Admiral Thrawn and Jedi Ezra Bridger. I think Gideon is the link for what's coming next.
Considering that Gideon had the Darksaber prior, it makes sense that maybe some Mandalorian group became loyal to him and has been working with him.
Bo's followers became mercenaries after she returned to them without the Dark Saber. It's very much possible that those are responsible for Gideon's rescue but are also the same Mando's than Bo's is tasked to reunite with.
Bo seems to become the political and military leader and the Armorer is the spiritual leader. She recognized that the time of division is over. that they can only survive if they accept all of their kind , and not just the ones following the creed (due to their own interpretation)
And the beskar thing at the end? I think his Android Dark Troopers were made of Beskar alloy as well, so if thats the case there is a chance they freed him.
I love how closely Shards ship resembles a pirate ship, it has a masthead and broadside cannons, also ZEB!!
So who is gonna be the mandalore, din djarin or Bo katan kryze? Well din is not concerned about the power he only wants grogu.

This was a great episode. They were really taking their time with the set up in the first half of the season but now it's finally starting to go somewhere. Can't wait for the next episode.

The sect of Mandalorians that Din belongs to were very strict about keeping their helmet on. Ragnar, the foundling that was saved, is Paz Viszla's son. So... Paz did the dirty with his helmet on and it's canon!

Glad to see you guys are enjoying the series as much as we are. The "Davy Jones" looking character is Gorian Shard, he was not played by Peter Dinklage. He was voiced by Carey Jones a 6'7" long time Star Wars fan who also played Black Krrsantan, the Wookie bounty hunter from The Book of Boba Fett.
Married Mandolorians can take their helmet (and clothes of) with each other to get down to buisness. This is the way Nikky!
Best episode of the season yet! We only got to see Mandalorians fighting together against humanoid enemies in season 1 episode 3, and that was only a couple of minutes. But now people who have never seen Clone Wars or Rebels can finally see why Mandalorians are the most badass warriors in the galaxy. And now that the Armorer has seen that their ways might need to evolve, Bo-Katan truly might be the one to unite all of Mandalore.
Also seeing the whole battle sequence makes me want a Mandalorian game very VERY BADLY!
The Imperial remnant has the vast majority of beskar and the dark troopers are made of beskar alloy. not pure beskar like Din's armor, which is why Luke's lightsaber could cut through it but enough to make it blaster proof.
They did say Moth Gidian's big ship was taken by Mandelorians now doing used as mercenary's something's us .
To answer the baby making question mandalorians are allowed to take off helmets with spouses. I've also heard with blood children but I'm not 100% on that half. Great reaction BTW!
FYI That kid saying the cree in the beginning of that episode with that giant alligator was Jimmy Kimmel's nephew. I think John Favreau was on his show and Jimmy told him.

Mandalorians were really the ones who extracted Moff Gideon? I thought their armor only used pure beskar, and the fragment found was a beskar alloy.
They explained that one of the reasons Mandalorians often died to one or two blaster shots was because they weren't all using pure beskar.
Troops like the Super Commandos, were issued beskar armor by the Empire, that was not the same quality as standard Mandalorian armor.
Plus some Mandalorians would be sympathetic to the Empire because Gideon did hold the Dark Saber...
But since the Empire had collected Beskar, it could be a set up.
Dark Troopers are also made partly of beskar, so it could have been surviving Dark Troopers. Or Mando mercs

I'm betting that Thrawn is behind all of this, and that once that is found out it is going to lead into Ahsoka's show. Because in my mind it couldn't have been Gideon's people alone that helped him escape. It had to be someone higher up. So I bet by the end of this season we get Thrawn's name dropped again and then it'll be like, "ok now into Ahsoka's show to follow her as she tracks down Thrawn."
I think you may be right about this. If they appear in the next episodes in this season series I hope so.

I think Bo is the one who will unite the mandalorian fractions. But unite and lead is not the same right? After the fractions are united they discuss who will lead the fractions. Once Bo failed to lead them and maybe there is another potential candidate. Who is it?
I know a lot of people would say Din because he's the main character, but he doesn't strike me as someone who desires to lead or rule. My vote would be for Boba Fett; his legacy as the galaxy's greatest bounty hunter would prove him to be a strong leader that the Mandalorians would respect. I know he's ruling Tatooine right now, but part of me thinks he would dissolve the crime syndicate and give rule of Tatooine to the people. What Fett wants more than anything is to honor his father. What greater legacy can Boba leave in the Fett name than helping restore Mandalore and uniting the clans? That would be the ultimate gift Boba could give to honor his father, Jango.
I think the Mandaloreans will end up getting wiped out by the imperials, except for Din and Grogu and maybe Bo. They will flee the galaxy, which is why they aren't mentioned in movies which take place years later...
@@patrioticjustice9040 Boba doesn't follow the creed. House Kryze and House Vizsla are the most powerful present day Houses of Mandalore other Clans pledge allegiance to these Houses. Most likely Tatooine and Nevarro will be part of an Autonomous Mandalorian Confederacy.
@@digenesakritas1107 It's because he doesn't follow a specific Creed that he'd be a perfect leader. He's not tied to any house or clan, so there wouldn't be any fears of bias or prejudice amongst the houses.
@@patrioticjustice9040 Personally I think Boba's experience with the Tusken's affected him he has bigger plans for Tatooine everything points to him trying to irrigate the planet in the future. On a non fictional note I don't think that's what Favreau and Filoni have planned. I'm sure he will assist his fellow Mandalorians in taking back there homeworld but he won't be the ruler of Mandalore.

A lot is happening this Season! Other than IG not being back yet everything I thought would be the finale has already happened. Is there 3 episodes left? I'm expecting, Mandalorian recruiting, IG returning, Moff Gideon mayhem, Mandalore retaken, and Thrawn teaser. How could they top S2's finale? Luke and Leia lightsabers with Chewy, Han, and Landon hallway scene?

The alien in the bar is from rebels, but you have seen his race in Jedi Fallen Order aswell. He is the same race as Cal Cestus Jedi Master.

Bo-Katan has to endure several tests in order to win the rigth to lead the people of Mandalore, is not enough that she is royalty, she needs to grow and understand the old ways in order to unite all surviving Mandalorians. The main question is: Who is calling the shots to set free Moff Gideon and the orders to Ellia Kane?
Remember the Mandalorians who abandoned Bo? Might be those guys who got paid to get Mof Gideon or another theory I have is yeah, Thrawn being introduced at the end of the season.
I know the Pirate captain's voice from Doctor Who, the Husbands of River Song. He voiced the giant red robot thing that took heads.

Bo is not from a "new school" - she is native Mandalorian. This guys (Din, Paz) they ever never been at Mandalore.
