Been waiting on this!
Knowing Theory’s reason for loving Luke and then seeing him almost cry when he said “Get back up, always get back up” is such a beautiful moment
what was the reason btww
@@Couragesand he had cancer when he was younger and Luke was his hero/idol
@@Asiandiskool awww damn
This is the Way ❤
I know exactly what you mean: watching Luke saying those words, which are true to his character, instead of the loser hopeless green-milk drinker hermit we saw in the Last Jedi crap movie, that’s what surely felt to Theory like fresh air, redeeming Luke as he’s supposed to be
Ahsoka: “so much like your father…”
Sw theory: ‘dies’
😂😂😂
😭😭😭
I really wish Grogu would’ve stayed with Luke a little longer, just so we could see some more bonding. It would’ve been great for Luke’s development, to see him truly evolve to the role of the teacher, the way Obi Wan once was to him, then later Yoda.
I have a feeling that was supposed to happen, but Disney forced Grogu back with Mando because of money.
There’s rumors that season 4 of mando is gonna introduce Mara Jade so we might see Luke more
We technically only got them together for the 2 “mando” episodes in Boba, kinda strange
I would have liked to see Grogu gone for like 2 seasons.
Honestly, I can't shake the feeling that something is going to happen so that he ends up back with Luke. Remember Luke said that Grogu wouldn't be safe until he completed his training. Din was able to defeat Gideon, but, if either he, or someone else, sends a Force User after Grogu, Din won't be able to protect him.
In the first episode the IG-11 droid said his directive was to terminate the asset. Din's orders were to bring it back alive if possible. Later we see The Client get killed by Gideon and from their exchange, it seems The Client was working for Gideon. Now, fast forward to the last episode of Season 2. Gideon tells Din that the child possessed rare properties that would be order back to the galaxy and all he wanted was to study his blood. So, it sounds like Gideon wanted him alive, yes? If so, then who wanted him dead? This has always confused me.
Ashoka: "so much like your father."
Luke: "in what regard?" 🤨
Luke: OK, good.
Hahaha nice!
I hate how people always clown on him for crying. He’s passionate about this franchise and he’s not afraid to show it.
He's a 30 year old man, crying over stupid shit. It's so embarrassing
We don’t clown him. We cry with him
@@IHopegood And that’s a fact right there
I’m an absolute mess myself. I watched Revenge of the Sith again when I was pregnant and Anakin’s fall was already emotional enough. Seeing him Force choke Padme ruined me lol. Whenever I rewatch RotS I’m a bumbling mess.
I cried in the theatre at the end of Rogue One. Whenever I see Darth Vader, I only see fallen broken Anakin and I’m an absolute mess.
Yo who didn't cry in both this episode and mando s2 finale?
I got emotional at 3:20 when Theory got emotional when Luke said “get back up, always get back up.”
The best episode of the Disney Plus Star Wars, was absolutely amazing when it dropped. Luke and Ahsoka talking about Anakin was mindblowing
Watch andor, this ep was great, but on the other hand it was lazy written with fanservice over fanservice.
@@12stack73 andor is the most boring show I have watched; ever. This is literally the best ep, EASY.
@@TheZmzz ok go watch avengers american kid
@@12stack73 sorry am not a Star Wars virgin, who finds that boring ass show entertaining🤡
@@TheZmzz cuz ur probably a child
Seeing the Original Trilogy vibe mix with the Clone Wars characters and the sort of "series/Mandalorian/Book of Boba Fett" feeling is perfect. It was truly the best episode, even tho some Boba could've been cool.
Absolutely, maybe we'll get that + Rebels with Ahsoka
“Get Back up, always get back up.” - the absolute Wholesome Luke, I idolized and loved the character for that. He was what little boys who were growing up with no guidance at least learned it from stories of heroes who are honorable and live with compassion and respect for life and everything. The way he speaks, the way he carry’s himself, man they should have kept him in the sequels like that, there wasn’t even a real reason Luke messed up, yeah the shining beacon of hope in the galaxy tries to kill his nephew in his sleep, I don’t know bout that one.
Such an amazing episode. Not only did we get Luke training Grogu, but we also got to see Luke on screen with Ahsoka. Absolutely beautiful!
3:34 I legit almost started crying here when I watched the episode.
this is who luke is, not what the sequel did with his character
this is true, but you gotta at least respect the creators of the show for remaining continuous.
I literally jumped out of my seat when I saw Cad Bane!! It was so freaking cool and scary at the same time
I watched this last night and I just got the Western vibes in that scene.
My favorite part was when he pulled out the training orb and Luke said "always get back up" i cried seeing theory cry
3:17 will forever live by this quote.. hits me right on the feels man. The love I have for Star Wars is insane. And then 5:22 when he says the saber belonged to Yoda and you hear that music… 😌. Seeing this reaction I couldn’t hold back the tears as well.
I cannot hate on BOBF simply cuz it provided the greatest piece of Star Wars content EVER imo in this episode
Ikr that episode alone was just crazy
Literally one of the best hours of Star Wars that currently exists - I agree.
Well yea it’s like they took that exact Luke from ROTJ and put him in the show, that’s the Luke we all like
I had a similar reaction to “always get back up”. So great to see Luke being the fantastic role model he was before TLJ ruined him.
IMO, TLJ didn't ruined him. It's called character development : at some point, he failed badly, like every human can. He finally redeemed himself in a final sacrifice. This move makes him Human, not some sort of ridiculous space Jesus with no defaults or failures. Even Yoda failed and did hide for years. Same for Obi Wan.
@@rman4539 that's character decline not development. Luke had already been developed. We are talking about the guy who believed firmly that Darth Vader still had good in him even after he saw the atrocities Vader committed. It doesn't make sense for this same character, after years of Jedi training and meditation, to try to murder his nephew because he just had a nightmare. Actually, this is neither character decline nor development; that is a whole other character, another direction, another person. In two words: Bad writing.
@@mark20102012 "that's character decline not development" : a decline IS a character developement. a character SHOULD fail at some point, otherwise it is, indeed, a bad and lazy writing. You miss the whole point of failures in a GOOD character journey. Luke had his rise, and fall, and he redeemed himself with a ultime sacrifice. Has classic has classic greek tragedies. Go learn basics of writing please
@@rman4539 "a decline IS a character development" yup, I realized that by the end of my comment. That's why I said at the end that it was neither a decline nor a development. It's like Mark Hamill said: "He is not my Luke Skywalker... maybe he is Jake Skywalker." Give me one common trait between OT Luke and TLJ's Luke. even if there is none I would be willing to believe that it's character development as people sometimes change completely but people change through different experiences, war changes people, tragedies, death of loved ones. Canon Luke didn't pass through any of those yet he supposedly changed drastically and tried to murder Ben (don't tell me that war changed him, we know from aftermath that the Empire ended after one year from RoTJ and some clashes with the imperial remnant can hardly change Luke who spent 4 years in a full scale war and remained light sided.) Canon Luke had it easy and yet he was changed due to the sequels' writers not bothering to understand the character. In Legends, Luke spent 10 years after return of the Jedi fighting an organized Imperial remnant, he spent another few years fighting several dark side forces such as the returned Exar Kun and Marka Ragnos, he was then caught up in the Yuuzhan Vong war in which his Jedi academy on Yavin 4 was destroyed (like Ben destroyed it, except that here Luke didn't surrender and go on self imposed exile, he built another Jedi academy on Ossus and continued in reestablishing the order). he lost Chewbacca, he lost the woman he loved, Mara Jade. He witnessed the fall of his nephew Jacen Solo to the dark side and his subsequent death at the hands of Jaina. He passed through all of this, yet by the end of his life he had reestablished the Jedi order and brought peace to the galaxy.
@@mark20102012 "in Legends", yeah. Not a thing anymore.
What bugs you is not that we didn't see why he became the way he is on screen yet.
What bugs you is that he is not a space Buddha anymore, and that he can fail. I get it. You want a "true hero".
When i hear yoda's theme it always sends chills down my spine. They did such a good job with this episode
3:17 "Get back up. Always get back up". - Luke Skywalker.
Hey Theory I'm crying on the inside like you So I feel you bro
When Luke said "always get back up" I had THE SAME REACTION THEORY!! ❤❤
Yep Luke was what got Theory throughout a rough childhood of getting bullied and surviving cancer. His emotional reaction was heartwarming.
this does goes to show that we need a starwars post 6 series including multiple character developments, luke boba mando grogu ashoka, put them all in 1 show already and keep it going
3:38 that line broke me😢
Best episode of Star Wars they have put out yet, obviously I think Mando S2 finale is close behind as well as kenobi finale
This was the most Star Wars episode that ever Star Wars-ed
You acknowledge how perfect when yodas theme kicks in. This version of yodas theme is just amazing
"so much like you father" hit so hard😭
Mandalorian and book of Boba Fett single handedly saved the star wars franchise for me, god I love these shows
0:56 Theory really did: let me look at it..with my own eyes
02:01 And that was the moment he realized..... LUKESOKAH :'D
Luke getting to talk to his father’s former apprentice is epic
Get back up, Always get back up...
This episode was some of the best Star Wars since ROTS
While it looked great this time, this appearance suffered from the same problem. Luke’s behavior is overly sedated. He almost seems medicated.
That's because he is now a wise Jedi. He doesn't show much emotion.
He was similarly calm in ROTJ
Can't wait for Ahsoka
Finally someone edited together the reactions from SW theory! It's so hard trying to revisit these otherwise
If this was just a regular Star Wars episode or special and not book of boba I swear this would be considered some of the best content
I really loved this episode. I just don’t really understand why some parts of this episode were even in the book of boba fett though lol.
#lukesoka
lukesoka should burn with reylo
As much as I love this scene, I think it should've been put in the Ahsoka show or a show centered around Luke's jedi order. Or at least in the official season 3 of the Mandalorian since this involved him and Grogu.
Boba made a cameo in his own series 🗿
atleast it was better than kenobi
@@Ahzuv that's true and sad at the same time
@@mertala1085 yep
I love how passionate you are with Star Wars. Keep up the great work
I loved this episode, I just wish it was in Mando season 3 instead of Boba Fett.
Great episode 👌 I loved when Luke gave him the choice, I don't know if Dave or Jon watched old school samurai movies but the end reminded me of shogun Assassin after the death of the shogun wife the shogun gave the son a choice he chooses the sword. I don't know if they thought of that but it reminded me of that.
It was deliberate
Luke “I can save my father from the dark side through his attachment to his son”
Also Luke: “no attachments at my school”
What did Ahsoka mean when she said "So much like your father"? In what way
The deep fake Luke really improved if he comes back in mandalorian by season 3 I wonder if he'll look like this or more improved.
Awesome Video!!! OMG THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING EPISODE OF ALL TIME!!!!!!
IT WAS INSANE!!!!!! I never thought that I would see Luke, Ahsoka, Boba Fett
AND Cad Bane in the same Episode! Absolute Perfection!
Thank You Dave Filoni!!! THIS IS THE WAY!!!!!!
So much like your father always make me tear up because i grew up watching the clone wars
1 year later the whole thing with yodas saber makes no sense bc u can see after he fought pelps and escaped he didnt have it with him so he would have to go back there and get it
What gets me is that he says to Grogu "This is a lightsaber." Why? In one scene he doesn't accept Ahsoka's praise of his teaching abilities an says it's "more like he's remembering." So, why would he think Grogu didn't know what a lightsaber was?
I cannot wait for him to start talking, or use the rebuilt IG-11 to talk, and find out more about his past now that Luke seems to have unlocked more of his memory, if not all of it. We've got 50 years to catch up on.
I know this reply maybe late but I’ve seen all your emotional reactions to Disney Star Wars and have to admit “it’s cool to get emotional through good or bad it’s what’s makes us stronger” Liam Neeson
I want a show based on this episode. The Disney people have neglected and butchered Luke, but they nailed it in this episode.
I liked it
The real Luke Skywalker
Did Starwars Theory get a Foosey Tube hair tattoo? Lmfao
THIS is the Luke we know!
This episode was and still is the best SW episode to date.
6:02 wow!
it was amazing but lets not get ahead of ourselves!
Actors always call them the cake and I believe that
This has given me a new idea for a Theory, how did Yoda get his lightsaber back after he dropped it fighting Palpatine.
I'm guessing he just constructed another
@@Tripl3Cherri3s But in Mando when Luke offers Grogu the lightsaber, it’s the same hilt is it not?
How did he know it was cad bane instantly?
Luke’s journey as a master should be its own TV show. We need to see him build up his Jedi order. And also show us young Kylo please!! And maybe this show can work to fix Luke’s exile. Make it more reasonable. And flesh it out a bit more. Maybe make it so Luke had the opportunity to kill Kylo but didn’t. Because he’s his nephew and all, but then that allows Kylo to go on and kill all the other students which then causes Luke to be like “I fucked up” And that causes his exile. It still won’t entirely fix the last Jedi but it’s a good start
facts
I mean, but that’s literally what happens in the movie
If only mando wasn’t in this show, where they left off with in season 2 was so heart wrenching it was perfect
My headcannon is that the public butning of Yoda’s lightsaber was a farce. They never found it. Only other possible explanation is that Yoda had spares.
Cad bane walking up like doc Holliday from tombstone lol
felt like legends
Ahsoka: "So much like your father"
Me: *SW Clone wars flashbacks* *cries*
Maaaaan i love this man loves star wars as much as us
I love that this series is called Book of Boba Fett and i haven't seen Boba Fett in this video once.
lmao
Ever think to yourself. "They know what we want, and they choose not to give it to us"
Luke basically saying ”never give up”
Yeah what about that luke in last jedi?
Love the reactions. Genuine love for the SW universe.
Actually yoda had two lightsabers, i still need to remember the source for this. But yoda had dual sabers, but he kept but he only weilded on of them. The one we see was his second saber. Yoda stored it in his cotage on dagubah
I'm ok with Feloni retconning the comics.. if they can't put it on the screen it don't need to be canon in my opinion... everyone will show up to watch Star Wars in theaters and on Disney Plus.. but not as many will actually take time out of their lives to read the comics
Would love a scene between Luke and force Hayden
Such a fire episode!
You can see Theory is real invested in star wars the good stuff
wait can you explain how yoda got his lightsaber again? and who's lighsaber did they burn?
I kinda wish that Grogu took the lightsaber and trained in the art of the Jedi for a bit that way when the time came, he could go find Mando and reunite with him
when i saw that silhouette in the desert I knew immediately but still couldn't believe it then i had to go change my pants afterward
Don’t know why but seeing theory cry hits different 😂
Luke Asoka was born!!!😆🤣🤣
Yep😂
I wish we could’ve had more of THIS Luke Skywalker.. instead of the one we got in 8 and 9
This was a fun time/weeks
Compensation I guess for turning our childhood hero into a hobo!
I'm kinda annoyed by people saying this is nostalgia bait the word itself is stupid imo these episodes were the best we've got
God is with yall
We need to have a seen in the Ahsoka series of Ahsoka showing Luke and Leia the hologram from the Jedi holocron
It’s Star Wars, the Mandalorian season five
She calls him Master Luke and later just Luke. I doubt she would ever call him Master Skywalker (too painful maybe). I could be wrong though. I hope to see
Huh. Didn't know about this extra channel. Cool.
1:47 really, Luke? Yoda said plenty of memorable quotes to you, and that’s the one you focus on?
Get back up. Always get back up.
As much as I strongly dislike the Book of Boba Fett, this episode was pure gold. Genuinely one of the best 40mins of Star Wars. Ever.
I just wish this standard of quality would be the standard, not the exception
It's a shame that mando season 3 didn't come close to giving us stuff like this.
Yeah, mando season 3 was just disappointing
Star Wars Theory plus?! Hah when did you do this channel??
They needed 3po in the scene with din
We love theory
Complete series
Yes, yes it is him because you’re not very polite
Cad Bane better not be dead dammit
