I really like that the sing goes on for about 3 minutes before the guitars, bass, and drums come in and kick it up another notch..this song could have gone on another 15 minutes...guess we have to wait till we get to heaven (smile)
This was one of the PRAYER BAND SONGS at Saint James Holiness Church of God near Morganton North Carolina but closer to Lake James. It's so good to hear these ole school REAL Gospel songs 🎵 🙌
My aunt sang this song on the day my mother passed ... all throughout the house while we waited on the funeral home to come get my mother’s body!! I will always remember that sound! I know my mother’s spirit was at peace! And I know my mother spirit heard this song! Well Done thy Good and Faithful servant! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 💛
This sounds so good and thank you choir for singing this song to me I can’t stop listening to this song it makes me feel good thank you so much choir for m
This was the last somg I ever heard my granddady sing. It was pretty strange considering how much he would sing "somewhere to lay my head", and "who built the ark". But the message of the song kinda conveys why this was the last song I heard him sing.
I have always loved this song, this is my Home Church, Antioch Baptist Missionary, and the man down front in the pews that stands up and start clapping his hands is my Brother, he just went home with the Lord 4 days ago, iam glad I found this video.
been studying Psalm 19:14 all night...deal is though...when all is said and done...the truth is that we are accepted in the beloved by Jesus' sacrifice...Great song...thanks for posting.... Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
I've been trying to find this song forever. We used to sing it at my childhood church but that was over 20 years ago. When I used to ask my dad about an official recording of the song, he would always say it was old campfire song and that there wasn't any. Which is a shame because it's such a great song!
Yessuh!! I love this!! I came across this video a couple months ago, but forgot to save in my favorites. For the life I couldn't remember the song title, but as I was searching for Hymn Choirs, it came back up! Thanks for sharing!
The musicians came in took the song higher. Whoever recorded this video ended it before a good organist joined in. ThAt would've set the church ablazed 🔥🏃💃
To God be the glory for this old song and yet the words are so powerful. I love it. It brings back memories of how the Lord has and still doing miraculous healing and especially saving of souls. Sis Geraldine Brown.

When it’s so good you gotta stand up twice
This is a good ole devotion song, North Carolina style.
Fayetteville here
I was thinking SC, but close enough. I heard this song almost every Sunday growing up in SC.
I'm in Cumberland County, just outside of Hope Mills, right next door to Fayetteville. SC is just down I-95 about 40 miles.
This is in nc?
