I'm a 37-year-old Hispanic in a wheelchair with cerebral palsy, who loves gospel music! Mosie Burks is truly filled with the spirit of God and I have loved listening to her over the last several months. Every song she sings is from the heart and you can tell she is truly praising God through the songs. I researched her and found out she is still alive at 90 years old. I was also saddened to learn she has dementia and remembers very little of some of the songs she used to sing and struggles to remember names and days of the week. I believe her legacy and impact will continue to live on. I really wish I could have been able to meet this amazing woman!

I played this because gospel music was playing upstairs when I was trying to meditate. I thought my oldest son was having a moment of thinking of his grandmother. I came home from dialysis and he wrote me a letter about moving out because my two middle children behavior. He’s tired. I started crying because I’m on dyalysis struggling.

This song we use to sing in church..all I could think was GOD, please keep me... Just as I was about to be rolled out ,I woke up... since, my life been an uphill battle, but through GOD'S grace, I continue on... GOD still doing his work on me.. the more I call the name Jesus, the harder Satan try to fight me... but when I call Jesue, what was hard, rocky, stormy become quite.. I can't thank GOD enough and listing to these song, I cry like a baby.. I have church right here, I fall on my knee.. right here. Don't wait for Sunday to turn ur life over. Please check your diet to ensure you are not allergic to certain food groups as depression can be caused by food allergies. Remember people of colour are often intolerant to milk and wheat. Have your thyroid checked as untreated hyper or hypothyroidism can cause severe depression. Increase your Vitamin D uptake, people of colour are often deficient in this vital hormone inducing vitamin. Also every day increase your B vitamins, magnesium, also zinc also omega 3 6 and 9 and take cod liver oil capsules every day. I promise you will see tremendous benefit. Also reduce your sugar intake and only use moderate amounts of natural salt when cooking. Cut/ minimise processed foods from your diet and don't use margarine it has trans fats. Just an update, everything I recommended nutrient wise can be purchased as supplements. I highly recommend vitamin b complex 50/100mg daily. Start with 50mg capsules once a day then if necessary gradually increase to 2 capsules daily. B vitamins can energise therefore if so affected take earlier during the day and not before bedtime. Also the herb Rhodiola or Gingko biloba whichever is cheaper. Both are fantastic natural anti-depressant that can be readily purchased from health shops or even supermarkets etc.. dependant on your location. Take magnesium 500-1000mg ensure you either take it with Zinc which aids it's absorption. However, this can be achieved l if you take it alongside a good multi vitamin daily, one which contains minerals as well including manganese. Manganese is a brilliant nutrient which also is a energy booster. When taking omega or cod liver oil as both are vital brain nutrients try to take separately from other nutrients, preferably in earlier in the morning. Whilst if sleeplessness/anxiety is a problem take magnesium/zinc nightly but after food since zinc can cause nausea if taken on a empty stomach. You can take as much as 1500mg magnesium daily. You may particularly benefit from increasing to this dosage If you find your depression worsens around your menstral cycle. Have you blood levels check to rule out anemia, anemia causes depression. Been homeless for about 6 years are more and fighting with demons outside. And inside it's seems like when I get to a shelter the demons following me but still praying and praising
Give yourself totally to Jesus. Accept him and what he did for you on the cross. Follow him. Read the Word starting with John. Take your authority and tell those demons to go and leave you in Jesus name. Plead the Blood of Jesus over yourself constantly.
Keep praying baby God brought me and my children out of homelessness and from under bad relatives and I have seen my share of demons,but God brought me through and I know he can bring you through it hang on he coming to bless you sweetie
