Danky Pickles As a hardcore fan of the Pumpkins and Billy in the 90s and early 2000s. He not only drastically changed his style of music but he changed his worldly outlook and became a little cooky. His conspericy theories are far out there and his politics aren't even related to the dark rebellion of his songs. I always wanted them to make a significant comeback but was always very disappointed. This song was great although I'm curious why he chose it.
Whole other music genre, but when George Michael died, i wrote:"Damn George Michael died today" in a discord channel and a 21 year old asked: "Who?" Like WTF. Anyways grew up listening to this voice. So good to hear it again :)
chad markham people change as they grow up. He has become more conservative because as many of us realize getting older makes us wiser hopefully. He's a very intelligent guy and he's seen alot of manipulation and crap in the music industry and he's not interested in being anyone's tool. It's good he had his success, if he were starting now he'd be ignored. People want cheap empty music not rebellious fight for the cause type stuff of the 80's and 90's. The generation doesn't care about a message. So that leaves him with few choices where to go now.

YB E I don’t think today’s music is “empty”. You’re just one of those people who think your generation’s music is the only good music. I’m a true music lover and find all music from many generations have good and bad (only in my opinion) songs. From classical to rap to heavy metal to pop to rock to country. My least favorite is heavy metal but that doesn’t mean it’s horrible music.

Anyone who wants to know who Billy Corgan is...
He's the voice of generation, the leader of the Smashing Pumpkins, a singer/songwriter who is so prolific he puts modern artists (who use 5 or 6 people to help them or in many cases write entire songs) to shame. He, and his band, in my opinion overshadowed Nirvana (who are only as famous because of tragedy) and were the last true alternative band who never became mainstream but through talent and hard work made the mainstream come to them. In the early to mid nineties you'd be hard pressed to find someone who didn't listen to them, they may not admit it because SP became that kinda band...they transcended popularity by 1995 and were just that, popularity in itself
oddly enough I saw this happen with the Cure as well in the very late 80's and early 90's, these bands were so popular that their music and image were inescapable, say what you will but TATT was in middle school in the late 80's and high school until the middle of the 90's so I was there, I, witness

mention one of the greatest dynamic guitarist of all time and certainly of his generation- being honest Corgan is so prolific his catalogue rivals Prince, Lennon McCartney.
two years ago, i stumbled upon mayoniase and it shaped my music taste forward. got me into all 90's rock and they are for sure the BEST band of the 90's in my opinion. Their music is so interesting sounding and meaningful. It very much confuses me as to why they weren't as famous as nirvana and alice in chains. Siamese dream is the best album I have heard in my life because of the fuzzy sound, they amazingly strange riffs, and the variation in tone and length. from acoustic wintery sounding ballads. to long harsh jam sessions of emotion and angst, to songs that change tempos and tones multiples times culminating in one of the most breathtaking experiences in music altogether. Seeing then live in may of this year was the best night of my life and I hope to continue digging deeper in their library and finding more impossibly good pieces of sound. Truly one of the best bands of all time.

Billy's music has shaped my whole life since 1990. If I could hear him perform Sad Peter Pan on the acoustic guitar with someone playing the flute parts with him, my music life would be complete.
Anyone getting upset by the negative comments is likely missing the reason WPC chose to cover this to begin with: to stir people up. He's a master heel, after all.
