Nice finish on both sets of speakers. I actually prefer the C-Notes as the bass is less bloated from proximity to the walls and rear firing ports (on both speakers). Amigas need some room correction DSP to decrease the bass bump in the 50 to 80 Hz range.
Thank you! To me the Amigas do sound great the way they are using them as living room speakers. I do feel that the C-Notes (C-Sharps with the integrated amp) sound a bit dull and could do better with a more powerful amp.
Recorded using my limited equipment that I have. They sound OK on the recording but far from the actual quality of course. I can highly recommend the Amigas, superb quality for the money, I'm sure you will not regret building them. Currently using them as my main audio setup.
nice speakers :) ... can't think about driving them with the same Dayton amp that drive the Amigas, would they sound better then the lepay? Also would the Amigas woofer fit the CSharps? Would it be better or volume would limit them?!
Thanks! To be honest the included Lepay amp does not do the justice of these speakers. I have connected the C-Sharps to the Dayton hybrid tube amp and they do sound much better compared to the integrated Lepay amp. I might try swapping it with a different amplifier later.
Donny, really great build and craftsmanship. Great sound for its size. Have you been able to measure them and what results did you get? Just thinking about ASR measurement a while ago, where they had some 700Hz issues and thought it was cabinet resonances. Your brace must have changed some of that, to the better.
wow it does sound louder , crisyier , and clearer than the other speaker ..... that is so weird ..... wow good job bro ..... you get better at putting things together
Samozrejme , veď hlasitosť nastavil vyššiu. A to je veľká chyba. Porovnanie musí byť pri rovnakej hlasitosti. To že malé bedne nemajú basy neznamená že dám volume hore. Nie ! Samozrejme má potom stredové a výškové pásmo výraznejšie. Ale to je veľký omyl.
that's not an easy decision for me, because both speaker kits sound almost equally good on my PC with soundbar or headphones ... for instance the drum solo from 3:18 onwards, both kits are very good for my taste ... the compact "C-Sharp Powered" kit sounds really good considering that the speakers are so compact and this kit is of course more versatile ... but the "The Amigas" tower speaker kit sounds a little fresher overall and a little more detailed in the trebles, but only a little imo ... I would like to have them both too, but I'm too clumsy in terms of craftsmanship ... overall a very good DIY job
I can't draw much as I'm listening on a cell phone. You have built quite a few speakers. Do you have any feedback on what you feel are at the top and why?
Even if you were listening on good equipment, there is no way that the sound test would be even close to the actual recording of course due to the CZcams compression. Currently I am most happy with my Amiga tower speakers. A superb speaker pair for the price.
I must agree. These sound test are mainly for reference. No way that audio recorded on my end will play even close through the compression of CZcams on your end.
Imaging on 7' speakers is always horrible inside a room. Combine the 2 into 1 tower. Also the choice for 7" is bad. Use a flatter paper come speaker with 1.5-2" cone.
I built these from Parts Express as well, fun build, decent sound for the price. I added an 8" component subwoofer, it completes the low end.
Lovely sounding set of speakers ❤️
Thanks!
I like the sound of the Amigas, I'd bring them out into the room with tweeter at ear level.

10/10 ❤️
How was this recorded? They both sound nice. I’ve been interested in the amigas as well as the c-note/sharp as a first kit so this is really helpful.
Also, both might sound a bit better 2-3 feet from the back wall. Most, but not all speakers do in my experience.

Thank you kindly! Unfortunately I do not have the equipment to make measurements of the speakers output. Would be quite interesting to do.
The Amigas seem to go lower but the C-Note bookshelves sounded amazing good for their size.
Thank you! They do sound quite amazing for their size, though I have to say slightly underpowered with that amplifier.
Very good sound My friend what song did you use in the first test? Thanks
Si Nature boy cover but i can't find the singer

Thank you a lot!

Thanks! I'm sure the audio test does not do any justice by showing the actual sound but the Amigas definitely have a more extended low end.

2:35 what’s the name of this nice synthwave track?
DivKid | Digifunk
Please what is the name of the first Song you played?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. Song: czcams.com/video/6ozdaINBLhQ/video.html
No same volume settings. !! Bookshelf +5 dB .
I don't think the recording is doing them justice, they lack body

Obviously C-Sharp could benefit from a sub but otherwise its very nice in the range they play
Yup, they are great bookshelf speakers.
very cool wish you success and make more videos, and you can sell it on the e-commerce site to earn some capital and buy more video components.

Thanks!
Верхние колонки (маленькие), по моему лучше играют. Высокие издают много гула от низких частот.. От этого не такой чистый звук
amigas won.
They certainly arent Sonab AO16's,
or Minimus 7's........but nevermind...
C-Sharp is good but Amiga wins .
