  • It is finally here again! The classic end-of-year compilation has returned with a 2021 edition!
    This end-of-year compilation features 62 different level crossings across the UK, including a handful of some rather unique ones too!
    This year has been quite enjoyable, despite the lockdown at the start of the year, as I’ve been to more new crossings this year than I did last year.
    From this year onwards, I will feature the trains passing at each crossing.
    Crossing types featured: MCB, MCB-CCTV, MCB-OD, AHBC, ABCL, AOCL, AOCL+B, MSL-FP, MSL-UW.
    Counties filmed in (in no particular order): Worcestershire, West Midlands, Shropshire, Merseyside, Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire, Devon, Cornwall, Hampshire, Perth & Kinross, South Lanarkshire, North Yorkshire, Lancashire and Oxfordshire.
    Thanks to to following people for joining me:

    Keep an eye on Marsh Lane AOCL (Chilterns), Chilworth MCB (Guildford), Wye, Chartham, Parsonage Road (Horsham) to name a few in 2022

    Great video Will! Certainly a nice selection of crossings there. Also, is that an old Semaphore/signal post at 13:38? The one with both gate mechs on the right-hand side of the road is certainly interesting, lol. That one E2S alarm also certainly sounded a bit messed-up, only saying "Warning", lol. And Shelburn-in-Elmet is always a great one, IMHO. Especially since it's very clearly a former road crossing that was cut-down to a ped crossing and it still retains the classic white-bordered wigwags.

    Have you considered the crossing just outside of Cambridge on the brunch for Ipswich

    Good Selection of Crossings. Apologies if everyone has asked, but what are the boxes that seem to rise. Are they the OD equipment boxes?

      Can you specify which crossing(s) you’re referring to? I’m assuming you’re on about the ones such as Harlescott, Oddingley, Thorpe Gates, etc.

      @@FlashingRedProductions yes those crossings Odfingley, Thorpe Gates, Harlescott etc. Just interested.

      @FlashingRedProductions  Před rokem +1

      Yeah, thought so. Those grey boxes are called lidars, and yes you are correct - they are part of the OD system.

    36:11 Who manufactured those barriers and posts? I’ve never seen anything like that
