Ugh hauls are depressing when youâre over here trying to pay bills and rent and barely getting by in this economy

I totally understand how you feel. Itâs easy to say be grateful but itâs very hard to actually do when youâre constantly struggling and you watch these videos and see how much you donât have. I remember getting so angry every time I saw fridge/pantry restock videos. Because I get bare minimum groceries and I canât imagine getting any, and as many, groceries that I want. What I do when it really starts to get to me is I just stay off of CZcams and Social media for a while. It really helps with the comparison game and is really refreshing. Cause thatâs all social media and influencer videos are - itâs people showing off their glamorous lives. Which is fine - they are allowed to do that. I wouldnât put down Alex for that. She continually says she knows sheâs blessed and that she knows sheâs in a privileged position. But itâs just really hard to watch as someone who struggles financially. I know I have to be in the right mindset to watch these haul videos.

I love that Stanley so much but my bariatric surgeon and nutritionist told me as a Bariatric patient we canât ever drink from straws again because the extra air can expand our stomach over time đą I donât want to risk it. Straws always helped me drink more water and Iâm really struggling drinking from a cup. I found that the âcoffeeâ lids on the hydro flasks seem to help. The one with the flip top. But still not like a straw and not as cute as a Stanley!
