It is great for that! Easy and intuitive to use. It doesn't get in the way between idea and execution, which I appreciate.

@@sonfx Does it take away from the sound quality when you feed your entire mix through it? I’m seeing mixed opinions on how it sounds

@@RJ_Eckie it does, yes. It has a pretty sensitive input so I feed it carefully and turn up the preamps on the interface quite a bit to compensate. I got more videos online with the KP at the end of the chain. Have a listen and hear for yourself :)
Another user suggested that it has a pleasant saturation and I'm gonna try that out next. Alternatively, you can use it as a send effect, in which case the degraded signal should not matter too much. Hope that helps you making an informed decision! Cheers

it sounds great. i have no idea what those machines do except the kp3 a bit. i forget.

Most of the sounds are coming from the Blackbox, and a few are internal ones from the RS. The RS is sequencing both its internal sounds and the ones from the Blackbox, which are going into the RS, so that I can use send and master fx from it. The RS sounds great imo, the KP less so. Nonetheless, the RS output goes into the KP3 in order to get the effects, at the expense of a degraded signal. If I was working with a mixer, I'd probably have the KP3 as a send effect.

@@sonfx wel naar gekeken en de 1010 is een heel mooie aanvulling op de RS.
Sinds ik echter bezig ben met de Neutron moet ik bekennen dat ik wel heel prettig verrast ben door Behringer.
Ik had al een poosje een oogje op de Cat Synthesizer en die komt er binnenkort bij. De klank, multi VCO en modulatie bieden een scala aan mogelijkheden.
