Christina absolutely kills it as a host on these videos. She has been such a kick ass addition to the channel this year. seat height. leg straight, with the heel on the pedal. that gives you the right bend. and fine tune from there. also, you can fit sausage rolls and hotdogs in that frame. make your friends jealous of your meal, as opposed to their lame snack.

Insane Brain: Ha Ha. We used to do that with small boulders in guys whitewater play boats. (If you’re not familiar with whitewater kayaks they are very short maneuverable boats - about 6’ long).

I'm currently anxiously waiting to get my first full Sus. I decided on the Vitus Mythique VRX 29 and I've been watching for the past week for the 2021 model to finally go on sale. I'm hoping this video is a good omen! Either way, very informative and appreciated!
Just got mine, need to get it out of the box and add my grips, bottle cage, and swap the brakes for some SLX quad piston stopping power.
Dang, I never even considered a Slash because I'm a weak climber and ride more trails that require I have to pedal to the top. She made that look so easy up hill. Also, wanted to say, great video and great presentation.
I guess a pro rider will make most hills look pretty easy
If know something trek is so cool, thé bikes are so usefull on Any terrain and lines i have a hardtail trek (wahoo) and this bike support me in downhill and enduro so well

I got a new MEGATOWER about three weeks ago & this whip is awesome. I just got home from an awesome ride trip with her where we went to Moab Utah Crested Butte, Breckenridge CO Angel Fire New Mexico and now I'm back in Oregon. After all of that she's now broken in. But I guess I better check them bolts now🤔

7:25 Does she mean to tension the spokes? Because I thought you only mess with spoke tension if your wheel is slightly bent.
Yep!! When you have a new bike or new wheels, you should definitely check the tension after a few laps. They settle in eventually but it takes a bit -Christina

I bought my medium bike when I was 5,3 at the start of January and now I’m almost 5,10 and need to size up for a large, having a bike that’s a bit big ain’t a bad thing cus having a bike that’s too small feels worse (in my opinion)
I got a interception recluse 2017 custom in large and I’m 12 at 5’8. Fits a little big, but we will grow into it

One question:do you need a bike with rear suspension or does having just the fork sufficient?
Having the front fork helps a ton
Hard tails are the bikes with only the front fork. They are a nice ride but are a bit bumpier. You can put more power on the road with a hardtail though, because of the lack of rear suspension

The Rear slips sometimes and same as Chrsitine id need to Pump the Shock a bit more.

Bike is great, seat tube angle is exaggerated to insane levels on XL frame though.
You are not wrong, XL frames cop some horrible seat tube angles

Every bike needs a snack storage! Are you running any tire inserts, PSI seems really low? Obviously some of this has to do with size of the rider, but if I run 20psi I feel like I have a flat almost.
I've never run tire inserts. At about 130lb, I've always had good luck with carbon rims and dh or supergravity casing tires. Happy to run a heavier tire if it means no inserts and less pressure -Christina
