1997 Toyota T100, Toyota truck, T100 series, 90's, 1990's, old trucks, good model, great condition - Auta a dopravní prostředky
My 95 T100 still runs like new. Over 600k miles. Original AC still works too. A local "Toyota truck guy" told me I'd never be able to find parts for my truck if anything ever did break down, because they can't be found in junk yards. They're all still running.
That's good to hear @eak185. Perhaps some businesses will start reproducing parts for these in the future. Thanks for posting!
I have a1995 sr5 200k everything work, a/c all power options Cruse control etc I get like 19 mpg nice and quiet is not noise like the few years old Ford or Chevy truck
I have a 97 T100 and it still drives great. I haven't had many mechanical problems. I don't drive it regularly so most issues come from underuse. Every time i take it on the road, people want to buy it from me. I love how it drives, do holding on to it. Kust the right size yo haul household items.
No school like the old school.❤
It's a great pickup, I bought it new from dealer and I owed 2 of them and my last was a 1997 SR5, V6 4WD with all factory options you could get back then. I sold my truck to a friend with over 200,000 miles plus and he drove it for another eight years. This engine never had any issues and didn't burn no oil. I did regular oil changes and filters, spark plugs, battery and maybe a headlight bulb, but other then that I Never had any major repairs, I have read online of people with frame rote, but I never had any of it. It's a awesome truck. Old school is the best.
My 21 year old son bought a 1998 t100 automatic with 118000😮 miles on it!! Beautiful green. It was only 10k from our local Subaru dealer. I saw it the night before he bought and told him he needed to be there before the dealership opened the next morning otherwise it would be gone. This is a unicorn 🦄, he has wanted a late 90s truck since he started driving. It had one owner and very well maintained, what a find..i still cant believe it. This is a dream truck for him😊
So glad to read your post @laceyhinson1071! Thanks for sharing here. I expect he will treasure that truck for many years to come!
Doing it the right way for sure!
I still have my 1996 T-100 4wd I purchased new, I'm on my second Tundra now and would never consider selling the truck, it's so much fun to drive.
Everywhere I go, people come up and ask about it, one guy wanted to trade me his 2022 Tacoma TRD for it, not a chance!
It is in perfect condition, just replaced the timing belt, water pump, hoses, belts, radiator, condenser, ac compressor, fuel filter, etc.
Very Nice @davidbegneaud60! Thanks for posting.
Wow, that's a fine T100... 👍😊
Thanks @linkos2003!
I daily drive a 2wd 95 T100, has just over 175k mi. I like the look of the 97's.
They are great trucks! Thanks for sharing. This one is still available. Here is the link if interested. ridefreedomms.com/vdp/20625250/Used-1997-Toyota-T100-SR5-Xtracab-4WD-for-sale-in-Tiplersville-MS-38674
IF I remember correctly, all of the T100s were made in Japan. And I also seem to remember that Tacomas are actually a mid size while T100s are actually considered Full size. Either way the T100s were built to strict standards and the quality shows. Beautiful specimen, almost a work of art.
Well said !!!
Agree. Truly the greatest full size 1/2 ton ever. I wish people recognized it like we do.
Yes, Toyota's last truck built in Japan. I have a 2007 Tundra but I would trade it for a nice one like this.
Bought a 96 4wd non-supercharged, 1 owner. 3.4 v6 5 speed. 127k miles so far so good
That's awesome Russell! Thanks for posting.
love it
Wish I can have one. I hope it goes to a nice owner. 10K for nearly 300k miles is a tough pill to swallow. Wonder if the price is negotiable.
High Jason, it's a consignment vehicle and Good News... yes, the price is negotiable.
@@hopfammedia Nice, but I'm good.
T100 production ran from 1992-1999. The Tundra started in 2000 with the full size Pickup with V-8
Beautiful. Sold already.
Hi Carrick, yes it's sold.
This is the best from toyota's 90s, I'm sad to see some for parts in the junkyards, people has no idea what they're throwing away...
Definitely a Great Truck! Thanks for posting.
Muy cuidada pero mucha millas amigo
Is the TRD Decal something one of the owners added on or was it a package available in the 97?
Great question @fcuellar08. There were other decals on this truck that were not stock. I am not certain about the TRD decal.
@@hopfammedia thanks for responding. It’s funny I spotted what I think was a 97 with the same decal the other day. So maybe it was a thing or it could just be two people with similar tastes haha
@fcuellar08 that is funny. Where did you see it? This truck's new home is north of Memphis, TN.
@@hopfammediaI saw it in Phoenix
Hmmm, @fcuellar08 probably a different truck.
When is the 56 Ford coming back?
Hank... we hope to get back to it, but don't yet know when. Next step will be a compression test. Thanks for asking !!!
Selling that truck was a mistake
