She has a right not to answer. She doesn’t owe an opinion on other people’s problems. It was established in court that Amber lied so how is it connected to Me Too
Because Metoo advocates jumped to conculsions and persecuted Depp now they pretend they didn’t. Depp was only able to get out of it because of fame and money. Other men are not so fortunate when Metoo goes after them.

So she chose not to answer the question. I believe her not being candid on her feelings but being deceptive isn’t her being smart. She didn’t pull the wool over on anyone by her not answering the question, so I’m not so sure why everyone thinks this was so clever. Her not answering it doesn’t change anyone’s opinion of her or leaving ppl guessing what she truly thinks.

@@kayaanbedi5554 well idk the journalist, so maybe that was the intention but I usually associate “gotcha questions” with politicians who are always trying to be deceitful and in order to get them to be honest you corner them with a question that if answered, reveals their true intent but when it comes to activists, I assume they don’t mind telling you exactly who they are and what they stand for, support or not.
I guess that’s why I don’t see it so much as a gotcha question unless there’s a level of dishonesty involved.
