Hi, you have to go in settings, Home Screen and the you’ll find system navigation. Or you can just search system navigation in the settings’ search bar! ✌🏻

Very informative video. I have to admit that I found the 'Back tap' feature to be annoying,. Because when I pick up my phone or accidentally tap the phone, it will navigate away from what I am doing to turn the camera on. I have now turned off the 'Back tap' feature.
I did the same, at the beginning it was a cool features but with time it becomes annoying like you said lol
Hi Johnny. Great tips! I have a question on one-handed operation. In my Samsung phone, they had a built in app in good lock to have swipe gestures without removing the navigation buttons. Can you recommend the best option in the mi 11 for the same thing?
Hi, thanks for the nice comment! By the way, there is a OneHanded Mode on the MIUI (settings-additional settings-onehanded mode) but it's only working with navigation buttons (so no full screen gestures) or you have to enable the quickball setting, not sure if you were talking about this or just the navigation gestures instead of the buttons, let me know here ;)
@@JohnnyChiuchiolo yup. I was talking more about the navigation gestures while retaining the navigation buttons. Eg return to previous screen, go home, etc just by swiping - but at the same time keeping the 3 navigation buttons. One hand mode isn't what I'm looking for. Thanks!
@@shethsa Alright gotcha, so yes you can have gestures but you can't keep navigation buttons, you have to go for one or the other :/

I have never used a Xiaomi phone before
I think they are comparable with the S21 Ultra haptics, they are similar to the iphones too, I'm talking about the Mi11, if you buy lower model you get bad haptics of course, no problem I'm here for that ;)

If you take top phone like the Mi11 and Mi11 ultra for sure also, they are at the top for build quality, same quality as a top Samsung phone or iPhone or any other 1000~$ smartphone, for user experience I can tell that you have all that you need, you can personalize your phone, the MIUI is very smooth and the updates comes very often, I'm very happy with it!

sir, i was curious about the screen recording.. can u test screen recording on whatsapp call and video calls? can it record sounds from both caller? ive used oppo before and it wont record the sounds during the calls
I can try it, what audio it couldn't record for you?
@@JohnnyChiuchiolo the voice from both caller during the calls. when i used oppo, only the screen is recorded but there was no audio came out.
Gotcha, what you can do on the OnePlus is recording the screen with 3 options: no sound, internal sound (sound coming from the app itself) and external sound, so it's recording through the mic and this will get your sound and the other (only if you use speakers of course, not headphones), try to check the option of screen recording it should be the same for most of the phones
@@JohnnyChiuchiolo yes oppo also has that 3 options. it was recording with sounds for the internal sound for apps and also the external. however its different case with whatsapp it wasnt allowing audio to be recorded. ive once tried recorded using instagram/ spotify/ and also watch movie during video calls with my friends but it only recording sounds from other apps at the same time but theres none of the sounds from whatsapp video calls. thats why i was wondering if that could be different in xiaomi mi11. cause i love to edit video of me and my friends video call. anyway thank you so much for your answer!
@@nwl7427 Understood, I think the "issue" is the fact that most of the calls with whatsapp and also telegram and Encrypted endtoend, so you are not allowed to record those kind of content, that's my tought but not sure of it completely, anyway thanks to you for commenting, no problem! :D

Hey bro! So from my experience (I've tried both) I would go with the Mi 11, just for the overall better performance and better cameras, but if you like a lot Android stock like OS or you just don't care about cameras too much then you can go with the 8 pro and save a little, but for now I'm not liking what OnePlus is doing, it is leaving some devices without the latest updates and they seem to not care that much, still it is a great device indeed by itself!

I purchase recently Xiaomi MI 11 phone but i didn't find Video toobox and AI image engine setting in my phone. Can you how I can get it.

6:48 I noticed that calls and notifications use the same volume slider, is this true when you press the volume button? FWIW, I prefer it this way and always hated having to adjust them separately.
BTW, do you mind testing what's the touch sampling rate outside of games? (It's touted as "up to 480hz" but that's probably in games only.)
There are 2 methods on CZcams. The easier one just involves downloading an app (Touch MultiTest), swiping as fast as possible on it, then taking the max reading minus your current refresh rate which should be 120.
18 April EDIT: tested it myself on a demo phone and it's 240hz
Correct for calls and notifications you have the same volume, btw sure I could try, as soon as I can I'll do the test and let you know!

Hi. Tks for the vídeo. Anyone can help me with the unlock screen vibration? I usualy have the sound off on vibration mode. Doing this, Every time that i unlock the phone it vibrates. I hate this and the only Way to minimize it is select the silence mode without vibration. But doing that when i receive a Message, there is no vibration or sound . I have the MIUI 12..0.13. Any ideias to solve this? Tks
Hi, I think you can find the option to turn off “haptic feedback “ on system gestures, in sound & vibration, I have always my phone on vibration mode and I’ve never had vibration when unlocking the phone, try that and let me know!

you can activate the android easter egg (cats app) . but 1st you must use the new notificatin style . this feature only works when u using the new notification style .

I bought Mi11, overall I like it, but Always on display frustrate me, because of my job, like my always on display to be on, to see notification without picking phone. But no matter of how I set it, AOD on this phone turn off sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 10 minutes, this afternoon it was on most of afternoon, then turn off .
Strange fact actually, I don't have this problem with my unit, probably software bug, I guess we have to wait for the MIUI 12.5, probably it's gonna fix many bugs and add more features

Hi, you can adjust some settings to get some more minutes of screen time, like lowering down the resolution to full HD+, using the dark theme, using automatic brightness or you can extend it by a lot just using 60hz refresh rate, turning off the always on screen and turning off location service etc. but in this case it makes no sense to have a phone like the Mi 11 with these settings, also if you want to extend the battery life in general you have to keep your battery level between 20% to max 80% so you can preserve your battery in time

You need a special underwater case for every phone you want to use, also you to choose the right case for every situation and water depths, but actually I don’t know if there some specific cases for the Mi 11, for sure there are some that can adapt to any phone ✌🏻

How many android updates do you normally get? I've never had any Chinese phone..not even the OnePlus. I went straight from the iPhone to Samsung, but now I'm seriously tempted. This amazing Snapdragon 888 phone with a display on par with the Samsung S21 Ultra, costs exactly the same as the small S21 (exynos chip) here in denmark.
Hi, they receive the same updates of a non-chinese phone, like Samsung for example, they have already got some updates since the release date and that is very good, also they keep the phone updated in the long time, this year for the price the choice i very difficult, they all are very similar phones.
@@JohnnyChiuchiolo Yeah the competition is great. This phone tho seems almost too good to be true for that price. I'll almost certainly get it, but what I was really interested about were big android updates.
Like Samsung for example used to guarantee 2 and now they've increased that to 3 big software updates, so the S21 which comes with android 11 will be updated up until android 14. Do you perhaps know what that's like with Xiaomi?
It is actually very good for the price, I don't know if Xiaomi has a time guaranteed for updates, but I've used Xiaomi for years now and they keep updating also very old phones, especially these latest years.

@@FAISALKAABI-tc5ol no problem still, the phone just get a little bit warm when you do heavy usage but instantly get cold when you stop doing that heavy stuff, it's really surprising how fast it can go from warm to cold, no joke.

Hi, depends always on your budget and at what price you can find the phone, if it's a low price it's still considerable as a very good phone overall (in fact I'm still using it as my main phone), also depends on what you do mostly on your phone (like gaming, photo or other)

@@sienna2045 I don’t have any heating issue fortunately, btw the redmi note 11 is a very different device, it is considered mid range (because it has lower spec, not the same screen etc) but for that money it is for sure a best buy, so if you want a top phone you got for the mi 11 if not go for the note that it’s very good too, and also take in consideration that in a few weeks/months xiaomi will release the new xiaomi 12, so you can buy the mi 11 for a lower price ;)
