Hi Andy, thanks for the video. I had the pleasure to visit a few weeks back and I absolutely loved it. Can absolutely attest to how great the people were.
That being said, I’m a little concerned about bringing my grandmother along. We’re Asian and she doesn’t speak much English.
Curious if there are any Asian/Chinese communities there?

Hey @alexhooi7970, for starters my neighbors are Asian! I’m almost certain that there are, I’ll look into that for you. Glad you liked it here. I look forward to meeting you maybe?

I’m looking to buy land to live on in my RV. I don’t need much in life but gardens and chickens. What county would you recommend? $200K, would like 80 acres

Gardens and chickens sounds wonderful! The first question I'd have is do you have to go to work? If so, how far is too far? Also, 80 for 200K is a tough one. 20 Acres maybe. But you never know. Bottom line is likely the land will be a bit further away from town. There is land in Macon county and Rutherford I found doing a super quick search.

Tornadoes are my one fear , that's why I won't even look at a house without a basement. 😉

Honestly, it’s been tough for tornados recently.

Do many homes have basements in Williamson County or very few? When looking at listings, it doesn’t look like they do but I may be mistaken.

Hey there. Overall there are very few basements. Especially in the older homes.

I can’t say for sure. I think it’s different kind of heat. For me the issue really is the humidity.

It's similar to feeling like you hit a wall when you walk outside but with the added instant wetness . You do get used to it. I did it in reverse coming from humidity to dry . The dry heat used to make me feel like I couldn't breathe in the beginning.
