Jim Thorpe, PA Touring the Old Jail, the Jim Thorpe Memorial, Harry Packer House, and great food

We loved our post race fun around the small town of Jim Thorpe. The Old Jail was so spooky and unbelievable that people were once held there. The burgers at Marion Hose Co. rank as one of the best I have had in a long time such a great lunch/dinner. As a Haunted Mansion fan it was so surreal to see the inspiration at the Harry Packer House, I just wish we could have gone inside. It is so interesting that Jim Thorpe is buried in this small town in PA and seeing the memorial grave site was really educational. Muggles Mug is not to be missed especially if you love Harry Potter - they had great options for those who have dietary constraints. This is a must for those looking for a small town in the Pocono Mountains with lots of character!
