real guitars have OOMPH to them, but when I try to recreate that WOOF that like 150hz stuff in an amp sim, it's just not as easy to emphasize without ruining the low mids.
How do you handle guitar amp sim low mids? or do you hi pass at like 250 and leave that to the bass?

Good Video however I have no idea how to do most the things you've suggested or what you mean. Can you do video more indepth on how to do them on a DAW.

the last thing 5:25 is if youre working in logic there's no way to export it in mono. Recording DI guitars for me feels just like a flow killer, and I would ideally never want anyone to reamp it. Just commit to a sound, if its not good rerecord it.

Logic definitely allows you to bounce a stereo file to mono. Not sure why it wouldn't work for you. Also, recording a DI track is easy if you use a DI box. Connect your guitar to Input jack on the DI box, then run a cable from the Thru to your pedalboard/amp. That way you can record the DI and pedalboard/amp at the same time.

Cool do you ever let people come in to see how you operate? I am 53 and been playing guitar for about 35 years and now turning to the dark side of producing…….well have been for the last couple of years. Be interested to observe how someone that knows what they are doing and how you set your workflow! Cheers.

Buy something with an Evertune and call it a day.
Best thing I ever did for recording.
