One of the most profound and amazing songs ever written; Dylan himself said he doesn't know 'where those lyrics came from' when he wrote those songs, and he could never do that again today. You did a beautiful cover.
Beautiful. Evocative. Takes me back to my youth in England back in the sixties when we would crowd into tiny nightclubs and cafés to listen to folk singers. Simple songs and lyrics with a moving message. Those were the days.
I have seen and heard a lot of covers but my goodness you are really good!. Joan was able to take us on a journey with her voice. You seem to be the same way, i closed my eyes while listening and it was like I was listening to Joan. Your voice, timing and guitar playing are all outstanding. Keep up the great work. It was beautiful.
I know the song itself is great, but your rendition is so powerful, so emotional, and so beautiful, at least for me. BTW: I like your version more than Joan Baez's! Your voice has more mass appeal. Joan's was more operatic, so possibly more difficult to identify with for some (like maybe me). Absolutely beautiful too, but I like yours even more. What can I say! Nice guitar pickin’ too!
Great song by a legendary songwriter (Dylan in his prime in '65), This is a great cover. Keep up your singing and playing. Music can be a lifetime companion who's truth will never fade...
Indeed ! It does sound genuine. My commentary was about the same, although I had not read yours at the time . I am just an old Frenchman. Forever young ???
WOW that was fantastic! Beautiful! Just keep a lookout for anyone with a Sitar who can spare you 5 minutes! I feel FAREWELL ANGELINA is crying out for your attention!!
Lovely rendition! I can close my eyes and easily imagine young Joan's clear, pure, and emotionally expressive mezzo-soprano voice. I actually prefer this acoustic version to her 1968 "folk-rock" recording. Bravo!
I so much wish that a recording of Dylan singing this song would surface sometime, but for now, your rendition is my favorite - a bet less strident than Joan’s, just perfect.
I was 7 when this single came out in 1968. It was one of many many records being played by my older (16) sister. Big sis has passed away & I don’t think I’ve heard this song in 45+ years. Yet within 10 secs of your beautiful song, I went back. I went back to those days. I went back to 1968. Crissy was 16 and I was 7. It was a nice moment. I’ve not forgotten a single note of this song.
There is a documentary of Joan Baez where she recounts how she and Bob were in a hotel room where he was busy writing. She play this song and Bob said that is pretty good, who wrote it. So she told him, you did. I guess he was so busy back then he forgot some of the things he had done.

Without a doubt, the best cover of this song I've ever heard.
You need to bring this voice to the world. Don't worry about record companies, they are irrelevant. Keep posting!
Thank you!!🤗

Love it. What a quality performance. So refreshing.
Very nice, sweet and melodic voice. And of course I fell instantly in love. Something about a beautiful girl playing guitar and can sing.
So much beauty in a simple attic room.

Incroyable ! At least as good as the original. And sounds genuine...

Beautifully done ... might be a Joan Baez cover but I hear a lot more of Joni Mitchell in your voice, really well done
Also a big fan of Joni...thank you so much😊
Wow, good observation 👍
Yes, Joni Mitchell - absolutely! This girl has got it.
I know the song itself is great, but your rendition is so powerful, so emotional, and so beautiful, at least for me.

'Quite good', as Bob D said on hearing the I.S. Band 'October Song' for the 1st time!
Watching you helps me cover this too. Just for fun - not in your league. But I’m enjoying this so much! Thanks for showing your guitar work.

Lovely rendition Geranne, beautifully performed
Beautiful version!
Your eyes are as stunning as your voice, and your voice, like that of Joan Baez, does justice to this rhyme extravaganza by Bob Dylan.
