How about a short 3 season series, about 8-12 episodes, composing of Eda’s misadventures prior to the events of the series. S1 sets after Them’s the Breaks Kid comprising on Eda’s Hexside yrs and ending on the Emperor’s Coven tryout/the day Eda first transformed into the Owl Beast. S2 opens with Eda finding the brief case portal and her exploring the human realm where we see her make plans on selling junk from the Human Realm to make ends meat. S3 will start after Eda found King and will take place 8yrs prior to the start of the original series. The series ends on Eda sending Owlbert to the Human Realm and when Owlbert returns we see Luz coming out of the portal brief case. Starting the events of TOH. I guess we can call the series “The Owl House: Wild Witch of the Isles”

Eda could be the main protagonist of The Owl House franchise if we have a prequel series for The Owl House.
