thanks for this. All the tutorials I find are for super scream skrillex type wobbles. I just want to make some stuff like you are doing. So thanks you again.
You have to go into the browser and find the instance of massive that's running, then it has a list of parameters then you have to automate the one you want
I'd love to say I could, but I can't. They just seem to produce slightly different sounds. You could probably experiment with both for interesting results
nice tutorial but i have one problem, your sound, sound purely amazing and mine.. well, it sounds nothing like yours and i have no idea on how to fix my awful sound. do you mind if you send me the patch, i have version 1.3.0
+Nick Shillito (NickSMusic) you are just plain awesome man i was fucking searching the whole fucking youtube for like years to make the SKREAM signature bass..and now i finally got it bro...thank you man!
okay awesome! that's what i thought, but I couldn't tell if there was something else because looking at your song there was different automation clips at the same time
smooth sq with wt all the way up is a simple square wave, you could also use sin-sq and do the same thing. Just a small tip. I'll keep watching and comment after, great sound though, I like your workflow.
Could i get an explanation for what he did? He keeps saying "click this then that." and i honestly love the sound you made but i use a different uh... thing. DAW? So i don't have these little gimmicks and stuff. What i mean is what did he do to the sine wave, how many are going at once, is there a difference in octaves between them, is there some sort of distortion filter, is there a phase lfo. What exactly is this sound I'm hearing? I'm not very smart about music so if you could treat me that way that'll also be helpful. I hope this community is nice enough for my big favor :/ i just wanna learn.....
Basically you wanna find waveforms as similar as you can to the ones he chose for each oscillator in your own synth. You'll need to choose the same settings for the envelope and filters, and either use LFOs, envelopes or routers to mimic the automation he added to each knob, or even draw it in yourself. He hasn't done anything using sinewaves, he started with different waves. As you can see on the left of each active oscillator, oscillator one is pitched down 24 semitones (2 octaves), and oscillator two 12 semitones (1 octave). there's no distortion or any other effect active. The only way to define this sound really is a wobble bass. Bass because it's predominantly low end, wobble because it wobbles.
+Blanco Oooh thank you. So if i boil everything you said down. It's just an automated low end square wave? But it sounds so different from when i tried to do this in mine... I may be missing something ill read your reply a few more times. Thank you though :) 👍
Even this video has nostalgic quality
That wobble in 3:25 so much sounds like the wobble in the Caspa remix of Cockney Thug
yapıyon bişeyler hala knk

What a deep cut omg

Lmao me too. I was a kid when I made this, I’m now an adult with a house loool. I miss the simpler times

i got this recommended right next to rainbow gun by sharks and wow dubstep has come so far so fast
This one sounds a lot like Cookie Monsta's Ginger Pubes bass. good job.
thanks for this. All the tutorials I find are for super scream skrillex type wobbles. I just want to make some stuff like you are doing. So thanks you again.
Same. I saw another tutorial video supposedly on “old school dubstep”, but it was based on like Mt. Eden -_-
Awesome Tutorial.
'Go and check out my Soundcloud or i'll break your legs' XD brilliant
You have to go into the browser and find the instance of massive that's running, then it has a list of parameters then you have to automate the one you want
Still relevant🔥🔥🔥
Cool! Thanks for sharing :D
this reminds me of Benga and Skream :)
Ayyy lmaooo, other than the great and helpful tutorial, lots of funny stuff thrown to the mix. Thanks m8
Thank you so much!!!
ANNAS KEEN!
this was very helpfull! thank u :)
holy shit dat wobble is awesome lol
No problem :)
Does anyone know how to remove the click sound at the start of the sound? I've tried to reset via gate and change the attack time but neither works.
I don't have the same sound! I did all the things you did! D:
THANK U
They're just samples that come with FL, and I think some are from the VEC packs
Yeah there are clips for other instances of massive where I have a faster wobble
thanks alot!!!!!!!!!!
well that was simple.
Lmfao you kept clicking the massive thing
FL Studio for the win... I have a mac though so I use Logic :)
Also what parameters did you automate in the track
can someone leave a link for a nmsv file im having some trouble making the synth sound the same ..
Pretty please??
THISISSICK!
ah okay, thx
The macro which I put on the lowpass filter
I'd love to say I could, but I can't. They just seem to produce slightly different sounds. You could probably experiment with both for interesting results
Does the Vibrato macro have any affect here?
Thanks, great sound. But how do I change the wobble speed?
Automate cutoff frequency/LFO Speed
Woodoow66 Oh, thanks!
could you tell me the difference between lowpass2 and 4
can we get the patches pretty please?
where do you get those oldskool dubstep drums sounds from?
nice tutorial but i have one problem, your sound, sound purely amazing and mine.. well, it sounds nothing like yours and i have no idea on how to fix my awful sound.
do you mind if you send me the patch, i have version 1.3.0
Can you send me the preset I can’t get the same sound for some reaso
and, how did you get that to work with automation? i dont get it.
Wish I had Massive ;-;
Which parameters are you automating in this song of yours?
Is there a tutorial for this bass with Sytrus?
Bruuuuu I made this 7 years ago, I haven’t used FL studio in probably 3 or 4 years. Ableton user now. And a much better producer lmao
i would be very interested i making a remix of this, any chance you can leave an flp link?
+Joel Meaney (JoelMeaneyMusic) sure thing dude, i'll PM you :)

It has to do with the depth. lp 4 effects the sound much more.
whats lp 4

6lfo? or 5lfo?
It doesn't matter you can use any LFO, they're all the same
Sytrus is incredible, but I hate the way FM synth works.
new dubstep in 2020 sounds so bad lol
if anyone is interested, i upload oldschool styles of dubstep from 2006 - 2012 style.
its not rlly screaming thoooo lol
Huh
you don't need it, learn how to use sytrus properly and you can create some absolute filth, i have massive and i never use it :)
