In the mid 1970's there a whole double album of Beatles love songs released, ca. 1977, simply called "The Beatles Love Songs" which sold very well, 7 years after they officiality dissolved [broke up]. Of course this song was on it.

Sir Paul was inspired to write this for the true love of his life & girlfriend/fiancée of 5 years, British actress Jane Asher. Many of his songs were written for her. Even now he is still writing love songs for Jane!!!! 💜

Its almost impossible for me not to smile while listening to the beatles. It's also almost impossible for me not to get emotional and also to not think of my parents. I was brought up on the beatles (my dad oddly looked like a young George Harrison) and they have such a deep place in my heart that will never disappear.
