    I love watching first-time listeners tear up when they hear this pure song. It reminds me of the first time I heard it when I was 11 years old.

    People are not reacting to For No One from Revolver. I think it's just as good a ballad as this is.

      Agreed. In fact, I prefer it, although they're both great songs. And they are kind of opposites, Here There and Everywhere is a celebration of a relationship, while For No One is about a relationship that is possibly ending. Despite these opposing views, I think they were both written about Paul's then romantic partner Jane Asher. Goes to show how relationships can inspire totally conflicting but equally heartfelt emotions.

    Both John Lennon and Paul McCartney agreed that Here There And Everywhere was the best song Paul wrote while with the Beatles. I love the double dipping NASA!! Best wishes, RNB

      Paul wrote this song at John's house when he went there one day, john was fast asleep. Paul says this is the only song John ever gave him a compliment on, at least, to his face. John complimented many of Paul's songs to other people.

      @@ricknbacker5626 Maureen Cleeve not Yoko was the woman in the song "Norwegian Wood." Norwegian wood was the popular name for the fake pine wood panelling that was fashionable in London at the time.

      @@John_Chu First, Yoko was not on the Beatles radar screen in the Autumn of 1965. Second, Maureen Cleeve was the writer in the London Evening Standard who, in the same article as her comment above, wrote the infamous "The Beatles are more popular than Jesus" statement. Where did you read she was the Norwegian Wood muse? I have never seen her positively connected with this song. In fact no one has ever came forward claiming to be John's muse in NW. Cheers, RNB

    Almost every song the Beatles did was a classic. Some really beautiful music and some real powerful songs as well. Songs like Strawberry Fields and A day in the life, have such a punch to them. Do not think this music will die off in popularity it is just to good for all generations.

    Thank you Nasa, for your reaction to this beautiful Paul McCartney song! Paul is a musical genius, and as Chris Jamieson pointed out their reaction, "For No One" is another fantastic ballad from Paul, that no one reacts to no matter how many times I suggest it! More Beatles greatness at "From Me To You", "Tell Me Why", "And I Love Her", "If I Fell", "Baby's in Black" and "Girl"! Enjoy the journey and we will be here to enjoy along with you!!

      Cannot agree more! For No One was never a single. It's an absolutely beautiful song from Revolver. One of Paul's signatures is using a baroque classical music arrangement in his pop/rock songs. For No One is a a JEWEL that does exactly that.

      Don't get me wrong Paul is a great musician and a great melodic composer. He is also very interested in writing songs that are popular with hos audience. John was more into a message and as he grew older he became like bob Dylan if the record sales fine if not I sent a message out that I hope will make the listner more aware of his oor hers social environment and personal environment

    Rubber Soul and Revolver are 2 albums when The Beatles grew up from a great pop
    band to more mature songs using more of the studio, by Revolver they were fed up with not being able to hear their selves play so by 66 it was all studio albums and with time to work on them it really is amazing what they had done with all their albums and 45s in less than 8 years.The real GOAT

    To watch this was not so much because I love the Beatles, but I wanted to hear Nasa proclaim she wishes this to be sung on her wedding day. I know it will be. And you will deserve it. So will he.

    I sang this for my ex in high school and she looked at me like I was a nerd for singing such an old song to her. It wasn't Blink 182 or Linkin Park enough for her, I guess. LOL. Learned my lesson.

    I just love watching you and having to listen to the songs again, that's thw way we were when we would first hear there songs after each and every song was released, you can't get enough! Your so sweet, beautiful and a pleasure to watch! This song is about his wife Linda who passed away from cancer. Paul wasn't right for a very long time after she passed but a lot of beautiful music came of it!!

      This song was written about Jane Asher, true love of Paul's life! He hadn't met the other yet. Jane is still an actress in England. Paul wrote it while she was touring. He wanted Jane to abandon her career to spend all her time with him. Had Jane not come home (years later) from an acting assignment early & caught Paul in their bed with another woman, they would still be together. Paul still writes love songs to Jane. He even dedicated part of his photo exhibit to Jane Asher recently!!!!

    Sounds like where The Beach Boys got their influence from. Nice Harmomies there. Maybe have a listen to 'Pet Sounds'...

      Actually it's the other way around. McCartney was influenced by their harmonies and in fact, listen to "Warmth of the Sun" and you'll clearly hear it in this song's opening. I believe it was intentional and a nod to Wilson and not the last time they used Beach Boys aka Four Freshman type harmonies. Back in the USSR and Because are also obvious BB references.

      @@luciusmalou4906 George Martin , the Beatles producer said the only competition they really had came from the Beach Boys. Both groups put out in my opinion the best pop songs ever. There was a mutual admiration between them as well.

Most of the Beatles harmonies were "American" for that matter, i.e., Everlys, girl groups, etc. I think McCartney was influenced a bit by Mancini too. Of course, the Beatles raised the bar for everyone, including Dylan (switched to electric, lol).

      @@luciusmalou4906 The Beatles got a little more political for that time, maybe Dylan took over after that. The Beatles had a huge influence on the way that generation thought. Lucky for us it was all mainly positive. I feel lucky to have been part of that generation just for all the great music on both side's of the Atlantic.

    Paul may have written these love songs for Jane Asher, but if you read about his philandering behaviour during their relationship you realise he was only ever in love with himself.

      In the 70's John was asked what he thought of Paul's love songs. He said, I think people have had enough of those silly love songs. So Paul wrote the song Silly Love songs.

      @@jamesscanlan6240 He was notoriously promiscuous and always cheated. He certainly spent many years putting up an image as an man who instantly turned into the world's most devoted husband. Just like Lennon he was very in your face about it. Lennon kept cheating. Paul was FAR worse than John as a cheater. I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday. I don't buy he turned faithful overnight.
