Deaths head moths belong to a family called Sphingidae , or the hawk or sphinx moths. There's a really cute member called the elephant hawk moth that is a beautiful pink and pistachio green you might also find cute. There's also hawk moths all over the world so maybe there's a member that lives around you that you can look out for :)!

Have you read the novel, by Thomas Harris? It’s a lot better than the film. It’s one of my all time favorites, so I like seeing this moth because of that association-it just enhances it for me.
