- After a full on start to the year I was grumpy, so instead of taking it out on those close to me I took a trip to fill my cup with my mates. Well worth doing!
Freelance to Fatherhood; the only full time job I've ever wanted.
👰🏼♀️💍 Millie, 👧🏼 Kora, & 👦🏼 Finn
In this video, the creator, Mark Tipple, shares his experiences balancing a busy freelance career with fatherhood. He describes how his workload in 2024 has been intense, involving frequent shooting and editing, which makes his job feel full-time. Despite the busy schedule, he enjoys his work, which often involves exciting activities like chasing dolphins and hydrofoiling. However, the stress of balancing work and personal life sometimes leads to cracks, including moments of frustration with his family. Tipple emphasizes the importance of taking time for oneself to maintain mental health and shares a personal anecdote about taking a short trip to recharge. He reflects on the significance of strong friendships and the necessity of balancing work, play, and family time for a fulfilling life.

'A life in the ocean has taught me lessons I couldn’t learn on land, both inspiring and humbling. Drawing on these lessons help bring stories to life in a soft and honest way, giving people my respect and time to let their stories shine.'
Smile and say thanks, often.
The Ocean both scares and comforts me.
Happy people are fun.

This is great. Even without a family I can def relate to the concept of needing to tap out of the freelance treadmill every now and then.
Freelance can be a grind for sure but wouldn’t have it any other way! Hope you’re well mate 🤙🏻
