This song is in support of the 2020 seniors who are missing out on all of the normal senior activities. I wrote this song to help encourage seniors around the world. As a senior myself, I understand the feeling of missing out on last memories, events, dances, and everything else. Avery Harper, the lead vocalist, and Arielle Winn, the background vocalist, are also seniors. I know everyone can be inspired by the message that "It's Gonna Be Okay".

I was supposed to walk the stage tomorrow with my dad in the crowd cheering for his first born and only daughter and now I won’t get to see the pride and joy on his face when he sees me in my cap and gown all grown up. I’ve cried for days over what was taken from us and what we will never get back. We were robbed but I’m so proud of everything we have done I love you class of 2020 and it has been a real pleasure to call you family I love you all and we did it so congratulations to the class of 2020 we made it🎓

If there was a definition of a crazy year. And any year I would not want to be a senior this would be it. But I have learned to live with what I get and always make the best of it. So that is what I plan to do. And I want every other senior out there to do their best to do the same. Let us not let being a part of the class of 2020 hold us back.

My younger sister is a 2020 grad. And she was beyond excited for her graduation. She had everything planned out for all of us(Family members) and to see that one thing at a time is was coming down and everything was falling apart. It broke her so bad. And i feel so bad because i’m her older sister I’m supposed to protect her and i hate seeing her cry and everything but i hate more that i can’ t do anything. And she is not even able to go pick up her cap and gown and her diploma because she can’t travel back to where we live. So i’m even more upset.
Well the point is that it’s easy to say “It’s gonna be okay” but they are never going to get back what they lost . They are never getting there senior prom and senior prank and many many more things. I’m so Upset. 😭😭 there’s so many this i want to say but i can’t i’m just soo SAD 😞😢
Thank you for this. I decided to wait for my senior year to go to prom. I will now never get to say "I went to prom in highschool. I was hoping to finally get the chance to play baseball this year. I have been on the team the past three years but the coach didn't like me so I didn't play much. We had a different coach this year. He started me in our first and only game. I needed this song more than I realized.

I still remember the excitment of my senior year and walking across the stage in a packed gym at same high school as these 3 students who did this tribute song.
