I've been going to TLM for 5 months now and didn't consider buying a missal because they're so expensive. But now that I'm quite familiar with the mass order, I want to go deeper and decided to buy one, considering that it's an investment for life. I live in Germany but I can't find any nice German missals and those in the chapel have this weird old font which is hard to read and I want one on my own so I can get familiar with it at home. I use English daily so it should be no problem. This video was a bit confusing but I'm sure I'll get the hang out of it when I have a missal at hand and watch it again! Thank you a lot!

I think this Missal is different than the one I bought today at Salvation Army. Mine is from the 70s. The calendar only goes to the 90s. But this is a great step by step video.
This is confusing. I've never used a Missal before, let alone seen one. I may just start with a Sunday only to try to get the hang of it. So much to learn.

I just ordered one as I want to get used to this kind of missal because I am in the process of becoming a monk and I am pretty sure this is the kind of missal that monks use, I currently use a monthly missal which only has the readings for the current month not for the whole church year

There was only one that didn't reject me, but I chose not to pursue that one computer, because I didn't feel at home there, ask of them were nice, I just didn't feel that one was the right one for me after 2 visits. But all the other ones I visited, even the one that I lived at for a month rejected me, I think it is because I have a learning discount so they don't really want to give me a chance.

Is there a difference between this single volume Daily Roman Missal and the three volume St. Joseph Missal set? Do they contain the exact same information or does one have something the other lacks, etc? Thanks.
Hello, I liked your video but still a bit confused because I have a roman missal from the early 1900 which has sentimental value and would like to know if there is a similarity to be able to follow it. I am aware that many things have changed but still would like to use it for the way certain things are said (meaning the old English style) as well as I find it more direct in a way. A 1900 missal would only be useful for the Tridentine mass, and even then only the 1962 missal is permitted for the Extraordinary form of the Roman Rite.
I just ordered a 2003 edition but now I fear the calendar won't cover the year 2021. Anyone know how long the calendar extends? .......Update: I found that the calendar year for 2010 is identical with 2021. I'm sure the year 2010 is covered in the 2003 edition. The traditional Latin mass missal is actually easier it appears.

i have a new ( old stock ) 2nd edition 1994. Can i still use this missale ? the Liturgical calendar dosent go past 2008.
