- Tune in as we install Novsight's 3" LED Light Pods (Floodlight version) on Defiant! After putting it off for what seems like forever, I decided to finally add auxiliary lighting, and Novsight was up to the task!
The installation is straight-forward, and the kit includes all of the wiring and hardware necessary to install the lights. The only thing that I to get from another source were the JK-specific brackets to mount the lights to the A-Pillar.

Glad to see you finally put some extra lighting on that thing! I'm running these also (spot light version). They're really good lights!
You know how I roll, man...keeping my setup minimalist. After a few times where I was on the trail after dark, I figured it was about time though.
I recognize those installation fingers.
I bet 😜
How are they compared to say, Auxbeam?
I can't truthfully say, as I've never used any auxbeam product. I will say that so far, they appear to be high-quality. I've been using them extensively since they were installed and so far, no issues. Did I mention how bright they are? :D
Where did you get the JK specific mounting brackets from?
Honestly, they're just cheap ones from amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PG26P6M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@DefiantOffroad Any fitment issues? Think they'll mess the paint up at all?
No issues, and they came with stick-on padding to go between the mount and the body.
Ok, man. Be honest with me. Are these cheap amazon lights?
Honestly, my first thought was that they were going to be. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality when I received them. They're truly well-made. I don't do a lot of trail riding at night, but since installing these, I've been making it a point to get out after dark more, so that I can put the light through the paces. So far they've not disappointed me at all, and I've no qualms about standing behind them.
@@DefiantOffroad Awesome. Thanks!
