We call this place “Mine-tana”. It is also part of the Snowshoe Highlands Ride Center and has top notch Mtb trails all over the area.

What size are those generals. I ran them on my Tacoma Overland Setup and I run them on my SXS. New 24 Jeep and just starting on it and cannot decide on tire size yet. And do you have a lift?

Great video! Our camping spots easy to find along this road ? Simple pull off spots on the side of the road or are there some a smidge off the road?

I've actually been down this one before. It's just up the parkway from Mt. Mitchell, right? The water level looked fairly low in this one. That river can be a bit nutty when it's rained a lot up there.

There's nothing like starting an overland journey sitting in traffic!

I enjoyed this a lot. Production on this one was really good. It looked like a lot of fun when it was raining!

I was wondering how loud the compressor is when running. Have you measured how many decibels it emits? I have the AJ40, and it seems to run rather loudly (~50-60dB).

Hello brother, Any recommendations for a dispersed camping area in the Washington national forest? My family and I always go for a camping trip on Labor Day weekend to Switzer lake close to flagpole knob and we going to this spot next to the lake where we can can get our vehicles right next to the water but the rangers place this rocks so I guess they don’t want to have vehicles that close to the water. I’m looking for a place similar to that… Any suggestions??

Hello Everyone, so, i’m about to buy these tires for my 1st ever Wrangler, but i got 2 questions and I’d appreciate your honest opinion plz like on a scale from 1 to 5 1- how do they perform on snow? 2- road noise/tire noise on highways? (Keeping in mind that i work in sales and i get phone calls all day long 😪) 3- i’m not planning for a lift kit, but would 295-70-17 for without the need of spacers? Thanks guys, happy to be a fellow Jeep owner :)

I'm going to try and hit some of the this trail on the way to the Fall Adventure Vehicle Roundup next month. I haven't explored Georgia yet.

I’ve driven that trail more times than I can count. The more people that find out about it, the more people will destroy it and get it shut down permanently. There used to be a larger trail network that joins this one. We always called it Peavine. It was permanently closed because idiots destroyed everything around the trail. They cut trees down, trashed the place (even left a car up there) and widened it some places. This trail is closer to the parkway side of this one. The gate is across the creek and might not be visible this time of year because of vegetation.
