One wheel vehicle (Monowheel) built by Kerry McLean and recorded by mr.d of kimerykreations at Schoolcraft College "Wheels of Tomorrow" in Livonia Michigan USA.
For Kerry McLean it all started with the first monowheel he built in 1971 and after his first ride he was smitten with the bug to make it better. Kerry has been building his unique monocycles ever since then and he continues to refine his creation with each new model. Kerry has developed and sold numerous versions of his monowheel, the smallest which is powered by a 5 hp Briggs lawn mower engine and his largest model is powered by a Buick V8 engine!
Visit McLean Monocycle on Facebook or their website www.mcleanmonocycle.com for more information.
Glad to see Mr. Garretson finally mastered the art or riding these.
cough
All you need to do is make a bigger wheel, add footpads and ur done.
It just so happens that the wheels of tomorrow are impractical and uncomfortable as hell...
SouthPark ruined this for me hahaha
It still beats what you have to go through at the airport.
My new mission in life. Buy one of these, grow a large mustache, and Dress up as Randy Marsh.
Well, technically, doing a wheelie means you're moving up on only 1 wheel. So, just moving it 'normally' basically means you're doing a wheelie already. XD
Not only your eggs will get scrambled, your shoes will definitely wear out very quickly with all that foot sliding to keep yourself upright when you're slowing down and coming to a stop.
I guess this guy also went to Colorado community college , like Mr Garrison.
"Wheels of Tomorrow"--a device first prototyped in1915. We've had a hundred years to make the monowheel practical. Maybe this is our lucky year?
its like south park
The only motorcycle concept that lets you go over the handlebars multiple times in one sitting, without falling off.
This is dope. See, monowheels are difficult to turn normally, but when putting your foot down they can turn incredibly tight. If you learn how to use it, a mono wheel can be used inside a building pretty well. Any other thing that can drive inside of a building will be out-maneuvered by running or walking. But this thing is actually better. I did some calculating and it’s mind boggling. If you’re inside of an office building, a well designed mono wheel will be able to move around the corners and straights much faster than someone who is running. Just imagine that. I think this might be great for use by security in things like malls, or offices. Imagine a security guard on this thing. People run away inside buildings all the time, but with this, security can do it’s job better. I have a quite wealthy friend who also heard me out on this, and he is thinking about investing in this. I’m commenting this here, just to be able to look back at my comment in a while, and see wether this became a succes or not.
Parabéns pra quem construiu ... Ousou e fez algo diferente .. deste protótipo pode sair algo mais pra frente
With one wheel, are you doing a permanent wheelie or stoppie? ( your choice which)
mr garrison
He almost died like 5 times just going around a parking lot. Can't wait to see this on the road.
futuristic vehicle, this motorcycle is years ahead of her time
Wow, that looks really safe! :D
