I was really excited when I saw your email about this but my excitement dropped down after I realized that you were asking for Ableton projects as I use FL Studio. Still, after seeing all this, after hearing all your thoughts and comments on all these tracks, I've actually gained a lot of confidence because this video shows me how much I've progressed when it comes to mixing and mastering. Don't really wanna brag about this but applying all the techniques I've learned and a lot of these techniques came from you, I can say that my mixing and mastering are very professional now! I really thought I need a lot of help with my mixing, especially with low end but now I realise that I finally got there! My tracks sound very good. They sound like tracks from big producers like Anyma, Kevin De Vries, Innellea, Fideles, Massano or Miss Monique and I want to thank you for this!
So, even though i couldn't send you my projects, I've still learned something from this video.

Hey @MirelCipu, I'm learning EDM production and even though I'm using Ableton + Vital, I still watch tutorials done on different DAWs and with different plugins. In the end, you can do the same things in all of them - they mostly differ by the interface. The point is gaining experience in music production in general, knowledge of a specific DAW is IMO really secondary. I guess Will could as well use LMMS and he would find his way around there very quickly (unless he knows it already (: ).

Concerning the levels for streaming and running a hot mix, I use a gain plugin on the master bus with a limiter just to catch peaks to avoid clipping. Its transparent, you can mix with correct gain staging while maintaining good levels for streaming. If your daw don't have a dedicated gain plugin use a plugin with gain makeup like a comp.

16:50 2nd track -

1:11:11 7th track - drum and bass track
1:24:00 8th track - vocal track / splitting out your loops to individual sections
a lot of it is adding a kick and snare and balancing them out, and a lot of it is in the mix as well! asking yourself what are the jobs of your elements! also bass line adding a bassline!

That’s a good name! Maybe I should call it that!
Great work Will - lots to take away from this.
Lot of clipping going on. I’ll typically gain-stage a lot of channels to -6db or more (if not the main stereo bus) as be stuffed for mastering headroom otherwise.
Did consider uploading a track but being a Logic user would’ve meant quite a bit of bouncing jiggery-pokey (Got several channels going into a bus with an auto filter on it with cut-off automation for instance).
Suppose next time you could maybe request a rough mix of the track in the first instance, randomly pick a few, then drop the chosen ones back a message to request the stems, then if I was chosen I'd er, work something out (noticed the stems track towards the end so it's obviously doable).

It wasn’t Ableton only. If you work with another DAW, you’ll just had to bounce the stems instead :)

Yeah the music is low but your love mic is to loud. Play back the stream and compare to other quality videos on yt. Like a reference track 😂
