I have visited that store so many times. I am not a painter, but I love the brush section. I have so many of them that I am using for my glass. I don’t know what I am buying, but I love playing with them.

My two sons took me to Dick Blick in Portland, Oregon, is a fun thing to do Saturday before we have lunch together. I haven’t been in there. I ended up getting several things, a fixative that you pump spray which “dries to an invisible matte and can be reworked indefinitely.” that’s from the directions on the bottle. I live in an apartment building and I don’t want to have to take something outdoors to spray it. It is SpectraFix Degas fixative. I also got a new 8 ounce jar of gesso and am interested to see how it works since my other gesso is probably from prior to 2006. I bought several other items which I won’t go into here but eventually will use in the sketchbooks and y’all will find out about them then. Unless I post the video that I’ve made about everything else I got there and at a local store, Columbia Art & Drafting. I’m mulling over whether or not to post it.

I wish i had these in my area. Its a very populated area and I have only seen michaels a town over but its almost always empty.
