Well, from your perspective it looks better with it, maybe cause of being used to Mk4 and Mk3 having a wing on them. First two generations didn't and they look good without one too. And honestly, Mk5's rear has sort of a lip spoiler anyways.

@KustomGraphics206 more time and detail doesn't always mean better. Besides, BMW had already spend more time and detail building that engine and chasis than Toyota did on the supra, as this chasis and engine is the result of decades of engineering. We haven't seen the complete limit of the B58 block, so assuming that the 2j is a better block, is not a good idea, as it's been around way longer and has had more aftermarket support than this engine has. You're all just nostalgic about an engine you've probably never even had or will. But this video proves that Toyota partnered with the right company, as not many can achieve these numbers in such a small timeframe.

Frank White Lol. Those are 1000 hp+ Supras with cold air intakes and gutted interiors. They also have huge turbos. This is a at least a 600 hp Supra with no weight reduction.

Remember Toyota chassis as well. Chassis geometry has a lot to do with laying down a good 1/4 mile time. That’s the reason it’s front halving that well and is able to run 9.9 at only 138.2. I bet that 60’foot time is ridiculously low as well.

Main reason is due to the fact that it has a bmw motor and toyota didnt take the opportunity to make a more modern 2jz instead. The car looks nice overall especially with the supra wing but its just the bmw motor thats in it made it look bad

@@Dacommenta sure, you can complain it all you want, but BMW makes a good sports cars, plus the 2JZ is not even made by Toyota, the old Supra is overweight, sluggish and weak compare to others sports cars at the time, sure, you can argue that "but bro Supra can go up to 1000hp! It can beat supercar!" Well in reality, they couldn't, suspension can handle that much horsepower no matter how far you tuned the suspension. Even the Supra race version barely making 400-500hp.
