Omg! Just a tip to add about sea sickness. On my first cruise on Norwegian as soon as the boat started moving, I was out for the count. I had to take a nap. The Stateroom attendant stopped by and I swung open the door looking crazy. He asked if I was ok. I said “No…. I think I’m sick.” I had Seabands on & ginger candy and nothing worked. He came back with a Green Apple & said, “this should help.” It sure did! When I was feeling better, I noticed there were bowls of green apples around the ship dining areas. I was so grateful! So Green apples help with sea sickness! I’m praying they have them on my carnival cruise 😅

Update: Had a blast on Carnival Sunrise! They had not one green apple on board 😒. I was nervous, but took some Dramamine before we pulled off & I was fine the whole rest of the cruise 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

So we're going on our first cruise this April. I've been watching Cruise videos daily for the last two months to get as much insight, tips and advice for our trip. I have to give your videos a 100% thumbs up. Your videos, are by far, the most informative content on CZcams I've been able to view. I agree I'm going on my 1st cruise on May 1st. And have been binge watching videos for the last few mths as well. You two are by far THE BEST at getting all the info out to us that we need. And I appreciate it soo much. BUT my favorite thing about you 2 is that you are both extremely interesting to watch too, most of these videos are soo boring and blah lol but I LOVE your videos, your interesting and funny as hell lol. Speaking of shotty wi fi, download movies and shows just in case u are bedridden or simply wanna chill in the room for the day. That way no buffering every 2 minutes. 👍👍

You guys are great! I also am a travel agent. Been on about 52 cruises. Carnival is ok, but I love Celebrity cruises. I am a food goodie so Carnival of course is low on the list for great food. People also should know if you dont like what they charge for gratuities you can change the amount. All you do is go to guest services a day or two before the end of the cruise and they will take off how ever much you want, even the whole amount they will take off with no questions asked.
They add on 18% on all services which also is alot of extra money to pay. A massage is great , especially on a shore day they will have specials but once the gratuities are added you can have 3 massages back home for what you payed on the ship. Always remember you do not have to pay what they add on for a gratuity when it comes to spa services and others.You tell them you want it changed to what you want to pay for a tip.Check often your rates on line mine recently changed 4 times into better rates before final payment. Make sure you bring your Tylenol from home. I just payed $15.99 for a small bottle of 20, in their store, then the next day on their private Island it was for sale for $2.99 figure that out!

I also pack my SNACKs n allowed soda. I mix my 12pk. A few ginger ales n spite in case of upset stomach. Thn my favorite sodas n SNACKs. In case of quarantine or late ngt munchies u have something on hand

I got sea sick in 1986 on a Canal boat ride in Amsterdam. To this day on every ship I board I carry Sea Bands, Dramamine, Ginger tea, and ginger candy. Never hurts to be prepared!

The latest trend is using luggage tags to make finding your luggage easier. This will not prevent luggage getting lost, so the split luggage tip should still be used. Luggage tags reduces the risk of luggage getting lost but does not prevent it all together.

You guys are Awesome and informative!!! We’ll be taking our second cruise in July 2022, our first was carnival fantasy in Jan 2020. ALL our other cruises we had booked and paid for have been canceled, including our wedding cruise that we had 27 family and friends booked on since they aren’t doing weddings anymore….so we’re hoping and praying this one isn’t canceled.

One tip, ask guest services for things you might forget before buying them in the shop. Save money! Also, if you have the drink package you can get naked drinks, and teas in the gift shop for free with the drink package. Also, some bars on the ships have a buy one get one half off HH between like noon and 2 on embarkment day. Check hours for each ship. But ask!!!

Bring a small air freshener or something to keep the bathroom smelling nice especially when you have more than 2 people. Those rooms are small and it can start to stink very fast!!!

Another thing we always make sure to do is make sure to have a watch set with the correct time for having to return to port in case the phone battery dies. And we return to port one hour before the stated departure time.The ship will indeed leave you. I’ve seen people get left before😬😫

I like the idea of split checked luggage because a few years ago, our checked luggages didn’t arrive with us. Luckily, we did have 1-2 spare clothes on our carryons.

Love joining carnival cruise group on FB! I set up a cabin crawl on all my cruises. This will be my 5th cabin crawl! So fun! I do it the first full sea day at 2 PM. Best day and time. Nothing going on at 2 PM the first sea day. You meet ppl at the beginning to hand out with throughout the trip!

YES!!!! We are the late folks. Everyone else rushes on and is sitting there carrying their luggage everywhere. We got on at 2 on 1/31 (RCCL) and we were waiting 5min for our room!!!! I didn't have to take my luggage all over. I also forgot the dramamine/bonine last cruise. I wasn't sea sick, but my medication was making me nauseated. My dad saved me.

Bonine NOT Dramamine! Its right next to Dramamine its also what the consierge has on the ship.take it at night doesnt make you sleeping . Only 1 every 24 hours. We start 2 nights ahead . My DH has balance issues and some vertigo at time. Bonine is the medicine that is used for vertigo also . So double duty.

We went to the Bahamas in 2014. I bought a lot of stuff from Target. And I sure took it back. A big straw hat and Dramamine. When the ship is leaving the dock in Miami I felt kind of funny so I stepped back. So I was fine after that. 🤢🚢
