Your spider is beautiful. A wonderful example. I have a teenie tiny D. Panama sling. I hope I can keep it healthy and happy. I'm not a huge fan of themed enclosures, but I'd love to get my lava spider into a volcano enclosure some day.
Very cute enclosure again ^^ I'm sure he or she will enjoy it very much :) Btw, I also do that, assign genders to my T's.. I just go for my gutt feeling and usually I'm right.
@@AdsArachnids depends, from a still in one piece molt I can, easily from a certain age. But like my Nhandu eats her molt and than spits it out into a ball.. still don’t know for sure, but my guess is a boy x)
Hi Ad I managed to get 3 of the Theraphosinae sp. Panama now reclassified as Davus sp Panama Fingers crossed they will get through the sling stage ok under my stewardship!! Your vids are great and the enclosures your upgrading to are marvellous so practical . God bless Dave Lloyd
That's great news! I read a bit about the Davus classification, hopefully it will get an official species name to go with the genus soon too. Yes, they are such great enclosures plus I find a lot of joy in the rehousing process starting with getting the enclosure ready for the new inhabitant. I'm really glad people enjoy the videos, I only really put them out to learn a new skill and show off the tarantulas so anyone actually enjoying them is a bonus. Hopefully I can get better and better at capturing these amazing animals on camera
Mine is doing well, I've heard they can be a bit finicky but that happens with a lot of new species. With recent taxonomic update describing them as in the Davus genus that should make care easier to nail down.
Thos panamas are sick, I've got a few dwarf elegans, love em, I know you say the panamas are not dwarfs, would be awesome though if they got about 6 inches lol. Yours looks great. How's their temperaments? I've not worked with them.
I’ve always said I’d love a Theraphosa sized GBB so I totally get it! Strangely mine has been quite a moody little twerp. Very willing to threat pose or flick hairs. Hopefully they’ll grow out of it.
£59.99 from The Spider Shop. Couldn't resist. I'm usually pretty good in sticking to my rules to stop me buying too many spiders but this was my one and only rule break. Promised myself no more spiders until I'd moved house and settled in but they come up so scarcely I knew I'd not get one for a fair time unless I jumped right away.
I have returned and your message was a major catalyst. For all the shit on there, I get to meet people like yourself so I really need to look at the positives sometimes. Thanks for checking in!
Thanks. I got this T a month ago. 2nd day I got it, it ate… was feisty too. lol but has been in its moss “hide” and has not came out nor ate since. ( made the hide 5 days after eating.. that normal?
Beautiful video!
I keep coming back to this video with a growing obsession for this T haha
Really hope you find one soon mate! I'll try and get some better footage next time I see Hades.
Amazing.
Thanks for watching!
Such a beautiful T. I just got 3 slings and am really excited to watch them grow. Great video!

That does sound like a cool concept for an enclosure. Good luck with your slings!
Good to see your back and posting again ads. Lovely enclosure ,one happy hades. 😊
Thank you!
These are such a gorgeous species and now another I've added to my list 🤦🏻♂️😆 Great vid man, nice enclosure 👌🏼🤍

Curious, how are they doing now? I have them on my wishlist but not sure how hardy or sensitive they are.

@@AdsArachnidshow big are they now?
That is a beautiful tarantula dude and I'm not at all jealous🤣🤘
Really is! I'm a sucker for red and black.
Hades has such incredible colouration!! Also, i need to know where you get these little succulents, they're adorable!!
Great rehouse :)
I think I got them in a little 10 pack from a garden centre ages ago....
I got 4 slings and all have very long pre molt keep thinking they have died lol after molting eat very well 😊
Yeah, mine is a hide and seek champion. Shame because I'd love to get more photographs.

I wish they sold those enclosures here in the US. We can order them but shipping is more than the price of the enclosure itself. 😢
There was talk of distribution at one stage but I don’t think it came off :(
@@AdsArachnids yeah I think it fell through.
Where do you get those great enclosures?
Arachnosys. I've got a video about them on the channel :)
Missing your photos on instagram, hope all is well

@@AdsArachnids absolutely!! Also I am a big fan of the scruffy look, you wear it well 🐻
Damn! I just got a fresh trim as well! Won't take long until I look feral again.
Where can I get some magnetic name tags like those
They're sold by Arachnosys who make the enclosures.

Sounds like it's gone into pre moult. Perfectly normal. They'll emerge soon bigger and hungrier!
@@AdsArachnids thanks I opened up the top part of his hide and left a pre killed cricket. It actually ate most of it. Weird… I also thought pre molt
@@Mudo94 might just be getting ready. My Phormictopus sp Dominican Purple eats almost right up to moulting sometimes, almost no period of fasting.
