- I don't have to tell you how iconic and celebrated Metal Gear Solid is as a franchise. But the thing is... I never actually haved played the games. So when I got access to the Master Collection Volume 1, I knew it was finally time to fill that blind spot. So join me as I recap my journey through Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Hahah, I watched some gameplay of it and it does seem like an interesting fight. But I love that the game let you find this different way so it's definitely "my canon" now :D
@@rioichiFIN you may have already heard, but another bonus way of killing that boss was to quit the game while playing and then not play for a couple weeks (or move your clock forward). The End would die of old age!
Legend has it that revolver ocelot was straight up spinning his revolvers until the end of metal gear solid 4

Definetely play mgs4, then peacewalker, ground zeroes and finally the phantom pain (rising is a non canon spin off but it is an extremely fun game so i suggest playing it after all the canon kojima games )
I hope you enjoyed these games, there's just something about the first 3 MGS games that is unlike anything I've ever experienced in gaming. True Gem 💎
Portable ops is definitely a brilliant game
However half of it is and isn't canon
I highly recommend it, then peace walker
After peace walker you need to jump to ground zeroes and then phantom pain
Play 4 as that's where it continues after 2 and then rising to finish the story

Also with portable ops there's passwords that work for all regions so check that out, I highly recommend that
I’m new to the series, well kinda. Got to act 2 on mgs4 and played some of mgs1. Working on beating GameCube version now with like 10 other games lol. I had a vita and played lil of portable ops. It’s neat. I’d say give it a try. I was trying to do mission a day but my vita stopped charging so now got a steam deck and have to redo a lot and get psp ones again. That’s my opinion though , good video and I’m also a splinter cell fan coming over lol. Ps2 version of double agent another game I’m working on lol.

"La-li-lu-le-lo" makes alot more sense is thay its suppose to be what people are forced to say instead of the patriots to keep them silent. In japan L isnt part of their alphabet, so in japan its super hard to say
Fair 😂 I enjoyed them and ps1 game was fantastic on the old console on pc mods helped people with the generation barriers

heres the order of the games u still got to play
-peace walker
-MGSV(there are 2 verions ground zero and phantom pain but ground zero isnt that big of a game)
-MGS 4
-MG rising revengence(a lot of gore in this game but its good)
if you want to play portable ops play it before peace walker but its one of the weaker games
yea and do not play metal gear survive worst game ever
after kojima got fired they made this game and it is terrible its just a zombie killing simulator

@@rioichiFIN you could definetly play it that way but I would highly recommend playing it in release order if possible, if not just play MGS GZ and then MGS V.
Peace Walker is so unlike the rest of these games and feels like such filler (same with most of MGS5) but at least the controlls and the level design in Phantom Pain and Ground Zeros are fun. I can only imagine the struggle to go from completing peace walker to ground zeros to phantom pain only to then watch a 11h movie in MGS4 :'D
oh and Rising? is the best game in the franchise by far, you don't need to know anything to enjoy it and it kicks ass unlike so many other game that attempt to be fast paced, cool and funny at the same time.
