Finally!! This is exactly what I've been telling everyone I wanted, not some practical, sensible "SUV", an actual sports car with sports car styling, ride height, handling and just a plain simple RWD option. An actual traditional sports car, but with superior EV technology! Honestly I didn't think MG would be the first to deliver, but I'm all here for it! Will definitely be looking out for this one here in Norway. Only thing I would change is an optional hard-top or coupe version for those of us with wetter and colder climates.

Hello MG, this ist a fabulos design. as soon as possible i want to drive this roadster. Currently my AUDI TT Roadster from 2007 is rarely on the street becauce I`m owner of the e-cars: MG4, IONIQ 6 an eNiro. I used to drive more than 340000 km electrified, but until 2022 more than 400000 km open with AUDI TT Roadster.
I think the MG C ist the worthly successor for the AUDI TT´s. I gave my Agent the order an hope for a quick delivery in 2024. :)

very nice roadster, I think that the release of these sports electric vehicles, 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3s for the 500HP two-motor version of the Cyberster, will make thermal sports cars obsolete because the power is available from the start with this booster effect specific to electric motors

I'm puzzled by comments asking for ICE versions. What makes electric cars so electrifying is the fact that skateboard platform design gives an incredibley rigid chassis with a low center of gravity. Motors that are way more efficient and way cheaper to run. All this gives handling and performance at a reasonable price, and people want ICE engines 😮

Not so cheap to run any more with high electric prices :(
@@UnderWarranty Depends where you live. If you live in the UK (gussing by the union jack) then you are still about 40% less per km.
@@abraham4961 Maybe if you can charge at home but my friend that does long journeys in is Mache E is now costing more to run then his combustion car and his needs 5 different accounts to use chargers, plus higher insurance. For town driving they are ok but we need hydrogen for longer journeys. Just need more to adopt it

I cannot get enough of MG as a brand and its cars. Already own the MG ZS Astor Savvy here in India and am excited to upgrade to another MG in near future, mid 2024. I just hope MG continues to deliver excellence in terms of products and customer service the way they are doing now. Way to go MG!

different price range, this one around 1/4th of tesla roadster (price in china at least). that also translate to techical specs, but at least this car will be available end of this year (most likely, unofficial info).

Will this be available in the US? I have owned several convertibles including an MGB. I love convertibles and have been waiting for someone to come out with one. Hoping they add a frunk to it since space is so limited in convertibles.

Can they include an artificial manual like Lexus want to do on their proposed EV Sports. Also we should be able to modify settings for internal and external sound. Maybe some additional body kits for aftermarket. Manual can be optional.

Stunning lines
The upwards opening doors are a great idea (speaking as an MX5 owner knowing how wide the doors open making it difficult to use carparks). However, how would they work when the soft-top hood is up? Would you have to put the hood down to open the doors? If so, not much good in the rain. Perhaps this is just a CGI concept….

We don't know the price for the moment ... But we know a few about dimensions and weight, clearly bigger than the MX5. And almost 2tonns in the basic configuration

50k upper trim. 3 trims apparently. Obviously switchable AWD is the way to go. The base will be 309hp which for electric is very quick. My moms Kia Niro has 200hp but 300ft lbs and thats very nippy.

Dear MG. Wow, what a stunner. But it's flawed. Too many EXPENSIVE gimmicks. The doors. Put standard doors and save $5,000 (at least). The dash. Put analogue gauges, elminate the giant screens - and save another $5,000. At the very least, pleast consider offering a "base" model with as few gimmicks as possible. If you did, I bet you could get this car down into the $40k mark. And if you did that, you'd sell tens of thousands more of them...

(Also, please please have someone who's 6'-4"-ish sit in the car. Make sure there is leg room, head room, and that the steering wheel telescopes back far enough... There are several million tall people who can't fit in a miata that would love to have this car...)

it's 4,5 meter so a little more than jaguar F-TYPE (4,47m) , more than porsche boxter (4,37m) and bmw Z4 (4,32m) , not a small roadster like mazda miata mx5 and more like a F-TYPE and porsche 911 size
