Maybe its the video but its difficult to hear a difference. The factory exhaust is amazing on these cars. Everytime i start my Z06 at quicktrip it draws attention.. Great video.
I agree…. the factory exhaust is fantastic! Even with good mics it’s really hard to pick up how good BOTH stock and the Paragon Exhaust sound. I assure you there’s an appreciable difference in person AND we picked up HP/TQ and dropped 30 lbs!
I really do like this set up and am 100% satisfied with the results.

@@dbmracing2019 I can hear a difference, and at 5462.9cc now it has 125 SAE HP per liter, or 683 what should have from the factory.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way the stock exhaust sounded at all… I do like the difference with the Paragon exhaust… it’s subtle until you’re wide open and then it becomes more apparent. More importantly o dropped 30 lbs and picked up 15 whp.😎 it’s hard to get GREAT sound capture for exhaust like these with even good mics.

Awesome video! Just me but i wouldve also ceramic coated the exhaust. Just because its such a tight fit exhaust. Cant wait to get a c8 z06.

Great job great sound. The only (rather big cosmetic mistake was not also buying Paragon black heat shielding to slap over the silver heat shield because the silver looks horrible from the back
Agree 100%! I didn’t know how much that would show and how much space the factory mufflers actually occupied.
That is most definitely NEXT on the agenda because it’s not as pretty at the moment if you happen to be low enough to look into the rear bumper.

He just installed the paragon exhaust and the Eventuri , cold air intake. it’s a prototype. Korey from Paragon flew down and put it and the exhaust on for him yesterday.

Sounds alot better for sure but it really needs a cat delete to make it truly sound epic. Even ones with the stock mufflers and no cats really scream.
They sure do! I have something coming along those lines very soon after hearing cat delete in person and driving.

Does the check engine light come on after the install.
Not with the cat back exhaust. My friend did cat deletes for his exhaust and he gets check engine lights intermittently

He is deciding which brand…… I know he already ordered hi flow cats to see how much HP that makes and how much it changes the sound.
David, do you know the diameter of the exhaust tips on the Paragon Exhaust? I purchased the exhaust but I want to put some aftermarket tips and I notice the diameters are different between the inside and outside pipes. I hate the OEM screen and 4 round tips. I want to find some bolt on tips I can use instead. I notice paragon does not have the dimensions on their website.
I just measured them for you. The actual tips of the exhaust themselves are 2.5 inches in diameter. That’s the pipe exhaust tip and not the GM opening attached to screen. So tips themselves are 2.5 inches 😊 thanks for your question!

how much luuder is it compared to stock 1-10
If stock is 5…… the Paragon exhaust id about 7.5 or 8. It’s louder when you want it and COMPLETELY doable for a daily driver at normal driving
What color is the C8? It looks grey to me or bronze.
It’s called “Carbon Flash Metallic”…. I LOVE it! In the shade or inside it looks black. When that morning sun catches it…. It almost changes to a grey color…… it has a ridiculous amount of metal flake in it.

Cat delete cheaper and sounds better
It’s certainly an option. I didn’t want to deal with the CEL’s but I hear Soul Performance new redesign of their high flow cats should eliminate CEL’s. So that’s probably the next thing going on the car. I do like the cat deletes though

Hey guys, it’s OK not to comment but if you are going to comment how about you just be honest would you spend $2500 for 13 hp only all he had to do was go fill up the tank 30% E 85 and he could’ve got the same results as far as horsepower. and sound is subjective It already sounded great from the factory. I would’ve started by taking off the cats.

Thanks for commenting and stopping by Some folks can’t take off cats due to emissions and the C8 exhausts are all quite pricey I agree. I’m going to go with German high flow cats very soon as I for sure know there is HP in deleting cats or higher flow cats. My friend Brandon is currently deleting his cats and we will see how much HP he picks up. I do agree a cat delete would pick up power and will probably sound GREAT!
