    This diffuser blend combines 3 beautiful relaxing oils that will help calm your mind, and it smells really great too.
    Cedarwood Essential Oil is such an earthy, calming, centered oil. Neroli/Petitgrain Co-Distill Essential Oil is a beautiful oil that is calming to the nervous system and eases an overactive mind. And who can resist adding a little Lavender Essential Oil, it’s so centering and smells amazing!
    🍀 The Recipe:
    Here’s how to make "Deep, Deep Sleep" Essential Oil Diffuser Blend:
    4 Drops of Cedarwood Essential Oil (Juniperus virginiana)
    4 Drops of Neroli/Petitgrain Co-Distill (Citrus aurantium var amara): Flowers and Leaves
    2 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)
    First, add water to your diffuser, and then drop in each essential oil to diffuse. If you have a very small space, you can cut this recipe in half. I would leave the diffuser on for around 10 to 15 minutes just before you go to bed.
    ❤️This recipe is from my free webinar, How to Use Essential Oils in Your Everyday Life. The training is great if you are new to essential oils, it will teach you the basics of blending. To check it out and register, please click the following link: info.aromahead.com/everyday-life

And diffuser .I have question for you I have rose ,geranium and orange I saw somhere this combination but I,m not sure how to blend together how many drops to create right balance ..thank you for your inspiration .I sent to you a lot of love and peace.

      @aromatherapyoils  Před 5 měsíci

      We're so glad you found us as well! How exciting that you are getting ready for your essential oils to arrive! Rose Geranium and Orange are a delightful combination. We generally recommend using 10 drops of oil in your diffuser each time, so you could try 5 drops Rose Geranium and 5 drops Orange to start.
      If you find that you prefer a more floral aroma or more citrus aroma, you could adjust the ratio as needed 💜

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  Před 4 lety

      Hi Rozena! Yes, you can definitely substitute Neroli for Neroli/Petitgrain co-distill in this recipe. The aroma of Neroli is a bit stronger and more floral, so you may want to start with 3 drops and see how you like it first before adding the fourth drop. 😊💜

  • @kimberleyfriesenhahn2515

    I have never heard of a co-distill. How exciting! Does it have a different aroma than a blend of the two oils?

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  Před 5 lety

      Hi Kimberley Friesenhahn! Petitgrain is an oil obtained by distilling the leaves of citruses, so there can be petitgrain from any citrus leaf. Common are bitter orange petitgrain, which is by far the nicest aroma. The bitter orange is used for the codistill of the orange blossoms and the leaves. It is about 95% leaves and 5% flowers.
      Aromatically, there is a difference - Neroli is a beautiful intense floral heart note. Petitgrain is more herbaceous, with a less pronounced floral note. Neroli/Petitgrain Co-Distill has the richness of Neroli’s floral aroma, made lighter and less intense by the softer, more earthy herbaceous aroma of the leaves.
      If you do have Neroli we would suggest using the therapeutic and aromatic beauty of that on it's own.

      Cj Lively absolutely!! Any essential oils that resonate with you and help you to feel calm and relax would be wonderful. On my blog, the Aromahead Blog, I have shared a post about my personal favorite oils for sleep. Here is that post for you to enjoy reading more on that: blog.aromahead.com/2015/05/25/favorite-aromatherapy-recipes-sleep
      As you visit the blog I can also suggest searching on sleep for other tips and recipes to help with sleep. I publish a new post each week and if you would like to subscribe to my blog, we'll email you to let you know about the new post.
      In terms of pets, at Aromahead we are, and always have been, very cautious about oils and animals. Animals are sensitive and it is good to be aware of that. We don’t recommend using oils directly on small animals and pets. It’s generally fine diffusing small amounts of oils, for a few minutes, in a well ventilated room as long as the pet can freely leave the space if it feels uncomfortable. If the animal isn’t free to leave the space or can’t go outside or away from the oils, then we would not diffuse. For more information on this topic, we suggest reaching out to Kelly Holland Azzaro at Ashi Aromatherapy - animalaromatherapy.com/

    Please advice.Therese.

    • @aromatherapyoils
      @aromatherapyoils  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Terry! So glad you're loving the oils!! Each person responds to essential oils in their own way so we can't advice as to how often you diffuse. We would suggest you pay attention to how you feel when you diffuse. If you feel lightheaded or a headache, that would be a signal to turn off the diffuser. We might recommend finding a diffuser with optional settings that diffuse for 15 seconds per minute or 1 minute per 10 minutes so that the oils are being diffused intermittently. 💜
