I am thoroughly ashamed to admit I always struggled to comprehend why someone would adopt a special needs child over a none special needs one. Then I just watched this video and I get it thanks to this little girl I totally get it. I want her she is the most adorable cutie and what a perfect match I am so happy they have found each other (her and this amazing family) and I’ll forever owe my new way of thinking to a lively happy Chinese American toddler. She's a toddler, she's is probably jet lagged, she's been taken away from every single thing she has known. some of this is probably anxiety manifesting. plus many orphans are detoxing from being sedated. Some comments need gestation or at least research.
Connie Long in many foreign orphanages - especially when special medical needs are involved - yes that's the case. A small amount of research can be quite edifying regarding info about millions of orphans.
I wonder what happened to that girl. This is five years ago. I know a white family who adopted an Indian boy. At first it was real cool for them, going there picking out the child. Picking a poor child whose parents abondoned him for financial reason. Visiting the orphanage. All the pictures. The attention. And so on. 10 years on they put him back in the system in the UK and a young Indian couple adopted him. It was reported that the first couple didn't find the boy attractive anymore! Brown is not liked by most!
