I’d love to see that precious baby as now a young woman. What did this feisty baby become? That year precious son was born and two years after that I adopted a family of five children so 1999 is very precious to me.

Everything was so crazy and chaotic and crowded no wonder the kids was scared and crying . I felt bad for the baby but also the new parents of her. They probably rather it be more private and calm. This is hard on the kids there being took away from the only people they have trusted in there life and going to a different people and home and country. I'm happy they get to have a family . But I just think it should be more quiet and calm and not so many people in one room . The kids are already going through so much. That makes it harder on these kids it broke my heart.
It would be nice, but it would be difficult to accomplish. It was the same when we picked up our daughter. There are so many children waiting to go to families and so few people to manage this. The kids are coming from multiple areas, some from a long distance. They are trying to get as many children into the arms of their new families as efficiently as possible. It keeps the kids from having to wait longer (it could take months longer), to decrease the number of children in the orphanages as they are so overwhelmed and to decrease the expense as they also have too little for the number of children they have. It's unfortunate, but when you understand the situation you see why it happens this way
@@elliesouza717 yes I agree it's not going to be perfect like we wish it could be. I'm just thankful there's people like you that can give these kids love and home and a stable life it's what they deserve. I pray for all these kids that they are happy and healthy and their families.

And, if I were in charge of these first meetings I would ban cameras. These new parents are often far more interested i n their Kodak moment than introducing themselves to their new children. There should be some little cubby holes with sides so mom and dad and baby can get away from the chaos of the big room.
I would say first thing is get the foster mother to stay out of it! If anything interfered it was the foster mother holding out her hands to take the baby while the mom had her! It’s not just this video either it’s Korean videos too but Korea is more together and has a backup director taking the baby from foster moms and making them let the mother bond with her baby! Foster mom is just adding confusion to the child. It also makes the children grieve harder and longer.
Poor baby was holding onto photos for security and the new adoptive mother was bouncing her around all over the place and ripped them out of her hands. She was also more focused on where the camera was (and everyone around her) than consoling the poor baby. Awful

I say her birth Mother must have loved her. A beautiful child, but may had reasons to give her up. Bless you dear Momma.
