Thanks, a friend bought the rules 3 years ago and we haven’t done anything with them yet. He has these armies in 6mm, so hopefully this video will give the kickstart needed 🙂

Lovely looking game but try as I might I just don’t like the idea of boxes on the table and playing cards. I think I need to try it out to remove my illogical dislikes!
Dom, one game and you will be hooked ;) Think of the cards as essentially as 10sided dice with less variability and the grid takes away the fiddliness that often comes with measurements in ancient games. I have even switch to a grid for playing Blucher rules.
We are real converts…..the only mild pain is the need for the gridded mat, but now we’ve got one I think it will be our rules of choice for ancients for a while 😲👍👍 ……. Cheers JP
Hope you got good use out of them, my ancients were all amassed before my plunge back into napoleonics so they don’t come out as often as they should…🙃🙃

Great looking game, splendid Romans and Picts, love the mix of warbands and cavalry/chariots in this army...
The Picts are a great army to look at,…..never manage to beat the romans though 😮😮😀😀

I missed this JP, it's a ruleset worth sticking with. Normally results in a lot of bad language!
