      You can’t have a gay Christian.
      You can have a blasphemous person that’s gay, but homosexuality and Christianity doesn’t mix.
      Scripture is quite upfront and direct about how God feels about homosexuality.

I just want to inform you he is a pedophile and is extremely aroused by children.... but that won’t be a problem for you because you don’t judge? Being gay is a sin just as well as murder, stealing, lying, adultery and others... ask God to extend the mercy he offers and be free from that unnatural desire.....sorry this is painful, but Jesus died on the cross so that lust doesn’t have to control you!!! Don’t be mad, ask God to show you the truth like the girl in the video.....I am not saying you are gay, just a blanket statement to any desires that need to be overcome.

God will honour this young lady because she has honoured Him. As for the other young lady, she has a decision to make whether to turn from her sin to Jesus OR reject Him and continue in her sin. The respect between the parties was wonderful both very pleasant and the testimony of the Christian girl was exceptionally encouraging.
    Jesus said;
    “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Also, I’ll give you an example, why is it when men/women become incarcerated and have been straight all their lives then all of a sudden then become Gay when they enter jail. People who are bisexual have been their whole lives and always will be, even if they realize it later on in their lives. As for your example, I am by no means an expert, but I would say that people who have been incarcerated are traumatized individuals. While some may be gay, some may just need the comfort or what you said, sex/dominance of a same-sex couple. However, do not take my word for it. I am not an expert.

      I don’t think its a choice. Being attracted to people is not a choice, but the choice is deciding to go along with it or reject it. Its like, as a heterosexual, being attracted to several guys but then choosing which one to be with. Or choosing none of them. As Christians I think it’s important we understand this. I hear people too often make it seem like you can just choose not to be gay. You definitely have to make choices against it if you do have that attraction but want to change it.

This place was a constantly burning pit, this is a historical fact and over the ages it was also used as a figurative description for life devoid of God. Now with English connotations the word is mistaken for a literal place of eternal torment. There is no scriptural precedent for a literal hell. Stop telling people they're going to burn, this is not God's message. God's message is a message of hope and forgiveness. The punishment of disobedience is simply to live and die.

    I personally was delivered from homosexuality! These are demons of lust and perversion that Jesus personally delivered me from. I thought I was born that way, and the lies being told in the education systems perpetuated my belief. I lived with these beliefs until my mid 20s . The demons were transferred through my dad when I was a toddler. Eventually the power and control of these demons over my life got SO bad, I was suicidal, cutting, relationships were a mess, I had panick attacks to the extreme, drugs, drugs, and more drugs... And these demons had a tight grip on me that made me feel like I couldn't breathe! I cried out with every bit of strength I had, and said, "I'm sorry for lust, Jesus please pray for me!!!", and just like that, Jesus interceded for me and immediately that demon left me! Immediately my mind and thoughts and heart and emotions and the way I saw everything and everyone around me since changed completely!!! It honestly shocked me! That demon had gotten so powerful that this demon was actually looking through my own eyes and had been distorting my perception for SO LONG! MY GOD, HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU JESUS FOR DELIVERING ME!!! Jesus loves us!!! That's why he wants us free from sin that only brings death and destruction, and especially this particular kind, brings so much destruction and death; just the life threatening diseases and the inability to procreate through homosexuality should tell you something(Satan comes to steal kill and destroy). despite the christian woman's politeness, what she is saying is still very hateful and oppressive. sexual orientation is a natural part of a human being's identity, something you can't change much like skin color. just because your religion says "god says not to do that" does not mean you are morally correct and does not mean you should oppose that on other people. the bible also says its wrong to wear mixed fabrics but no one cares at all. has this woman ever once considered that her religion might not be the correct one? are there not many very different religions who all claim they are the one correct one? this woman clearly has a lot of self hatred ingrained in her from the society she was brought up in, which is very sad, and that fear has consumed her to the point of perpetuating that hate not only upon herself but also on others. sad.

    • @hannahhillig9970
      @hannahhillig9970 Před 4 lety

      Hey, N! I believe her point was that God is the one who made morals in the first place. Yes, every human being sees differently, and we cannot all be correct. There are disagreements in every topic, but the one who made everything should surely be the one who has the final say, whether or not we agree with it. I once saw from your view as well. And so did the Christian woman! She was actively gay! But you ask how do we know that this religion is the “right one?” By how it changed her life. She once saw from the LGBTQ activist’s point of view, but something in her, in the person she was born, CHANGED! Thats how we can see it.
      Also, just to clarify the mixed clothing issue: Contrary to what many believe, we don’t just “pick and choose” what suits us. For example, life would have been so much easier for the Christian woman here had she ignored the verses on homosexuality. But she didn’t. The Bible does say not to wear mixed clothing, not to have multiple types of crops in one field, not to eat pork... But these things represented something temporary. These rules were set in place to separate God’s people from those around them in that time period by how they lived. This represented the separation between God and man, because of our sin. But then after God sent Jesus to take the punishment for humankind’s sin, the “separation” between God and man was gone. Therefore, there was no need for God’s people to “live separately.” Multiple times in the New Testament you will find that it was then proclaimed that these “separating rules” no longer applied. However, some rules which were not a part of this group remained. Living a homosexual lifestyle is listed in here.
      But it doesn’t end there. I, too, once identified as LGBTQ+. Or, more specifically, pansexual. But it was when God brought me to realize that I needed to turn from living that way and instead live for Him that my life changed. Was i “born that way?” Sure, maybe. But I was born again! Spiritually, that is. In other words, I no longer struggle with wanting to “chase after” every attractive person I meet because I realize that I was made to find fulfillment in chasing God instead, just like the Christian woman in this video! Please understand that I am not trying to “push my religion” on you. Rather, I am hoping to share with you something that changed my life- the realization that God’s never ending love is so much better than any love this world has to offer.

    Really dig the fact that you two are willing to sit down and discuss this issue. Dialogue like this is much needed. I, too, felt homosexual tendencies as a young girl. Came out in a lesbian bar in DC at the age of 15. Lived in Los Angeles for 20 years...been there... What I found is that the issue of IDENTITY is at the very core of LGBTQ+. Something clicks and we "identify" with it. It makes us feel accepted, wanted, free - and like we "found who we are". But it is a false identity that eventually fails us. Here's my story:
    As one redeemed and set free from nearly 30 years of homosexuality, (and near trans) I absolutely concur that no one can change their sexual orientation. Modify the behavior, perhaps. But true transformation? That is something only the Holy Spirit can do. I say this as one who never thought it possible to "change" and never really wanted to. I was convinced we had it wrong and that some people were just born gay. But I loved the Lord and wanted to be certain I had it right. So I went on a journey to find answers. No one forced me. I made my own choices.
    Scripture says we are to be "transformed by the renewing of our minds." The mental renewal occurs when one realizes the new and true IDENTITY that they have as a believer. Identity is not what you feel, not what you think, and not what you do. It is something inherited when you become a new creation in Christ. Sadly, many in the gay lifestyle (and Christians in general) have no clue about their new identities or what that means when it comes to overcoming any life-long inclinations or habits. To be sure, the process is not one that happens overnight, nor is it one that happens completely absent of temptation. However, that time does come.
    Many (not all) people who have gone through "ex-gay" ministries, counseling, conversion therapy, etc. are relying on methods, programs and antidotes that lean heavily on will power and "self-help". Hence, the reason for failure. I agree that these organizations and methods will almost always fail (as we are hearing and seeing), leaving people feeling hopeless, convinced of lies that they can never change, and their faith often becomes shipwrecked. I, for one, did not go through any "ex-gay" ministry...no "deliverance" ministry or conversion therapy (of which I am staunchly opposed to), and no counseling. I simply pressed into the Lord and His word...and no, the journey was not an overnight, instantaneous change. But it was and is solid. And I am a free woman, with no desire to return to homosexuality and no interest in women. So much for me thinking I was "born that way".
    The lie of the gay identity (leading to a false label) is at the core of the gay lifestyle. It is the beginning (or end) to freedom. And yes, people can be born with impure and immoral sexual desires, so being "born that way" is not entirely false. That should be no surprise as we are all born into sin. However, Jesus came to set us free and break the strongholds in our lives. That's what He does. And, He is still doing. God bless.

I understand now that if I wana see God one day, I wana be a shiny new penny all cleaned up and pure to be presented to the Lord. No one wants to be given an old beat up gift. We’ve lied, stolen, blasphemed the name of God, lusted, etc. That is why He came down to earth as a human and died for all our sins and got the punishment we deserved so we wouldn’t have to go to hell and be eternally separated from Him. Now all we have to do is repent of our sins, turn away from it, and trust in Christ

You’re saying that your interpretation of the bible (that you don’t even know is correct) is more important than someone’s entire self. you may not feel that way when you say it, but as a gay person that’s exactly what I hear.

    Christianity is a choice and they always want to be respected for it, why can't that be the same with homosexuality? The only difference is that we don't choose our sexual orientation lol

      Yeah exactly. You can choose your religion but not your sexuality.

      i agree that you cannot choose who you're attracted to, but you can choose to follow God's design of who you should be or be with. i also agree that Christianity is a choice, because we are given free will by the Lord. we can choose to be Christian or otherwise.
      as a Christian, i respect the LGBTQ+, but there are also gay Christians who choose to follow God. the sad part is, progressive gays automatically label gay Christians as brainwashed sheeple. but gay Christians like the woman in this video actually had agency and used her free will to follow what the Lord says.
