"Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant" -Robert Louis Stevenson
I will say you guys do an awesome job of equipment maintenance. When you first began describing the chisel plow, I was thinking by it's appearance, that it was brand new. lol Anyway, really love your videos, and as others have said, you are quite adept at articulating and describing everything that goes into a farming operation. Keep up the good work!!
The good old strip triller. Excited to see if it worked good for you this year
Love the videos, love your equipment and am jealous as hell of your place. Very beautiful setup, cant wait for harvest and tillage videos !!!
Good to see your new video! Thanks!
Great, interesting in the shop preparing for harvest and showing us harvest preporations!
Finally found videos that can give me a breakdown of what agriculture is all about. You just gained another subbie!
Thank you!! That's exactly what I'm going for!
You're welcome 😊
Nice fert setup and shop. We hit black layer in TX June 20. Be safe.
Your crops look much better than what we have in Southern Maryland. Dry weather hurt our early beans. I'm hearing corn yields in the 80-100 bushel range when we should be 175-200. I will start shelling tomorrow.
Wait till Maryland's nutrient management laws come to your neck of the woods - no more fall application of fertilizer - a mortal sin!!!
Nice setup you guys have I hope some city folk are watching this so they see what the farmer has to do in todays economy .That is interesting how your fertilizer goes on.When do you put nitrogen on . Great video good luck on harvest.
Great video! Thanks for the explanations!
A video with all your machines and a trip rounded on the farm???. Best wishes.

Love the Video! Please post more videos. Even if they are filled with Randoms clips
I will do what I can, thanks!
Another good video man! You should do a equipment video and show us what you all got.
I might do that sometime
glad to see another video
Hello. I love your videos. I try to watch them all. You put a personal touch to them. I drive to Indiana twice a week from NY to pickup new campers to deliver to dealers back east. While traveling along Rt 80 in Ohio I still see some standing corn in mid November. What's the latest you can pick or does it depend on the weather?
Thought you forgot us !!
What do you this and does it have a negative charge? From what I understand, dust can collect I the chains and blades of the harvester head and it will file down the metal and reduce the life expectancy of the equipment.
Also do you sharpen your blades ever or is it just better to replace them?
Always enjoy your videos!! If possible can you get some video from the cab of the combine or grain cart while harvesting?
First off I would like you thank you for your very informational videos. You are doing a great job! couple questions. what kind of liquid fertilizer are you using? I get phosphorus and potassium. and do you guys apply your nitrogen source in the fall like anhydrous or in the spring? or do you guys have pivots and run 32-0-0 through them. Also would It be possible for you guys to do no till? just because if you do tillage you breakdown your organic matter. yes your yields may be improved for the first couple years but in the long run hurt your organic matter. again love your videos and cannot wait to see harvest videos
Not too many videos ago you were planting!
I bet that chisel fertilizer sucks to back up lol
Its not too bad actually, they are well made.
Not many people know the amount of maintanance that goes into these farm machines.
Does John Deere offer training for you guys?
Thanks
you are spot on info
I was thinking about your drying system and was wondering what kind of a dryer you had and how many bushel/hr you can do
Is the corn seed used for food consumption different than used for bio fuel?
Do you have a video of the fertilizer in action? This machine applies fertilizer directly to the soil?
Paweł Kędziorski Yes one of my recent videos shows it. it puts it directly into the soil, about 5" deep.
What model of Chisel Plow is that? Very interested!
How are beans goin?
i have to say with all the farm videos i watch, there are farmers that know as much as you but they do not articulate like yourself
thank you!
MN Millennial Farmer please if u can get a gopro camera, it will be alot easier for you to film, really enjoy watching your videos and keep up the good work!
How much does a combine cost
Charlie Etris that's highly dependent on the year, model, and hours. A brand new 700 series Deere can be well over 600,000. A good used 9650 like our older (1999) machine is worth about $50,000.
What brand are those fert tubes on the back of the shank?
B&M Farms we get them from the case dealer but I don't think they're a case part. I have never seen a name brand on them
MN Millennial Farmer thank you. Looking to putting together a similar setup and haven't found any fert boots like that I like
B&M Farms if I'm remembering right case uses them on some machine. Your case dealer might have an idea. I believe it's a 2" tube
do you guys have row sense on ur corn head?
Our old combine wasn't capable of it but we will be running it this year with the newer machine. I have heard good things about it.
+MN Millennial Farmer We have it on ours and it is very nice. It can be used on end rows and even with SF1
