My grandmother used to have a home up a holler from the lake around the bend there was a boat dock owned by Ray White and then his son took it over Tom White this all took place in the late 50s it was a beautiful place and it looks like it still has retained its beauty

Watauga and South Holston are the most beautiful lakes in the area. Boone I would classify more as Boone rivers and not a lake.
