Going barefoot and working in rural Tanzania means dirty feet and soles most of the time. Today I am Grabbing mostly aged manure and some fresh cow dung from my neighbors for a compost pile
What countries in your opinion or from experience traveling, are barefoot friendly and/or tolerant?
Going barefoot can be gradual. Incorporate it into your favorite activities or some of your daily activities. Before long, you would be spending hours barefoot inside and even in the outdoors. Give it a try for the many incredible benefits

Great video! It's a delight to see how you use your feet as a useful tool for collecting the manure as in 1:18 or 1:29. I have done this myself when I once helped a friend on her farm, and I enjoyed the muddy stuff beneath my feet and squishing between my toes! Just wondering: Why didn't you also use your feet in 2:25 as an aid for mixing the fresh manure with the old manure? This is so obvious and could be fun for the feet, I guess.
And finally: I really, really like the way how you "wash" your feet with the dust at the end of the video: Why wasting clean water and soap for cleaning the feet, if the dust is just fine for rough cleaning? And since your feet will probably get dirty again in the barn on the next day, a little rough cleaning should be completely sufficient. Keep on this great work! 👣 🍀 💚
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! As to not mixing with my feet, I don't know why. I probably didn't just think of it. I do mix with my feet for other projects, but not that time lol 😆

I run now barefoot and have gotten used to a lot of things people couldn’t fathom. Actually stepped in dog poop for the first time not once, but twice this week. Visiting new town and both were so scattered and mixed with leaves I didn’t have time to see and avoid. Surprisingly didn’t bother me too much. Just a quick wipe on the ground and then continued on. I figure if it’s not all rubbed off after 5 more miles then I’ll just shower anyway.
@Tommy Absolutely! A quick wipe and still going barefoot takes care of it. If not, washing will clean everything nicely. Much easier than cleaning dog poo off our shoes. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on running barefoot! 🙂

I never considered it being brave to touch manure bare foot. My wife and I have been going barefoot most of our lives.My wife had horses and she cleaned stalls barefoot all the time. There's a image that will stick in my mind forever. I got home from work and found her barefoot, dressed in shorts and tee shirt cleaning stalls. She was nine months pregnant. A few hours later I took her to the hospital where she gave birth to our son.
