- Eurosat is a great indoor coaster at Europa Park, Germany. As a rare treat in 2004 the park ran the ride for members of the European Coaster Club with all the lights on...a view that the public don't see (as it is normally almost pitch black). See how amazingly close the structure gets to the riders...so don't put your hands up on this roller coaster! Enjoy the ride.
Oh no it's that time of year when I am nostalgic and sad about eurosat
Nach meiner ersten Fahrt als 8jähriger war ich erstmal geschockt von dem was da abging. Aber im Nachhinein war das bis zur Eröffnung des Silver star meine Lieblingsattraktion im ganzen Park. Bei einem unserer Besuche haben wir sogar eine Stunde vor Schließung des Parks einen Eurosat-Marathon hingelegt.
ja sie hat sich verbessert- auf jedenfall, ich war am 07/21 dort, in diesem Video, oben, kann man die alte Version super mit der neuen Version vergleichen - aber das geruckel vermisse ich schon sehr 😂🤩 lg

Hui! Diese Lautsprecher sehen aber altmodisch aus! Aber haben dennoch wohl die geilste Soundtechnik überhaupt!
Ich hab bisher nur im Temple of the Nighthawk eine Lichtfahrt gehabt, aber Eurosat mit Licht wäre ja noch viel besser :D

Do they give a safety briefing before the ride explaining not to put your arms up as you might be tempted to on a normal coaster?

Ik this is 4 months old but, as far as I know, Roller Coasters are built with that in mind. Putting the hands up should never be an issue ever, yeah you get kinda close but your arm shouldnt be able to touch it if you have them up, probably not even when you put them left or right but I THINK, that there is a warning on atleast some rides that tell you not to lean out (putting hands up should be good though, if it doesnt say that you cant put your hands up which some usually do during a ride then there shouldnt be any problem doing so)
There is an animated astronaut right before the lift that tells you not to put your arms up, but with that loud music you can hardly hear that. Also, you have to be very tall to hit hit any of the steel beams when holding your arms up, and the beams that could be dangerous are cushioned.

Das Video ist aber ein bisschen verschnellert worden.
das würde man bei der Musik hören.
Langweiliger wurde es.
Vorher lief man an Astronautenanzug und Astronautenartikeln vorbei zu den Wagen. Die Fahrt ging auch gleich los in einem Affenzahn, nicht noch ewig im Kreis herum gegondelt, es war dunkel, viel interressanter und angedeutet wurden Planeten und Lichtexplosionen.
Neu ist es langweilig. Werden es so nicht mehr fahren.
Eurosat war so viel besser🥺
