Anthurium love tree firn fiber. I would be so lost without it. It really help with rooting . You should try it if you are unsure about seedlings 🌱 it helps . Grate white Mico is very helpful as well

Listen…….😅 I’ve been growing Alocasia for years in soil & always self watering. I’ve always had “descent” luck with them. I’ve recently tried pon with some small corms that I grew out and LET ME TELL you Kevin……in pon they are THRIVING! The smaller ones from 2-3 corms planted have friggen all multiplied with leaves. No browning etc. I’m moving all of mine into pon. Never going back to soil.

I just got a baby Frydek similar to yours and I repotted it to stratum to help get it ready for its eventual home in pon.

I love your choices! I do believe it’s a year for Anthuriums also. I recently started collecting them. I can’t stop! I’ve bought all but one in seedlings. I have them in my cabinet so hopefully I can raise them right. I also have gotten into tree fern fiber for them because of Alice doing hers so good. Happy planting! 🪴🌵🪴🌵🪴
The blue is stunning. I think a faded green would be another good color but they obviously didn’t and won’t be reproduced.

I just got a Frydek variegated too and put it in 70% Tree Fern, 30% Bonsai Jack Gritty Mix in a terracotta pot. Yep, I enjoy watering 😊. Your plants look great I got a Anthurium Magnificum too recently. I am loving them!
eye twitching happens for 2 reasons. your eyes are not getting much rest. try to reduce screen time(tv, phone, laptop etc). and take b12. i work in IT, and i usually get lot of eye twitching. i take a sick day and no digital day, usually works wonders. stay well my friend
I have my frydek in PON and she loves it. She’d pupped a few times now and I’ve collected 6 or 7 corms when I last upsized her pot.
Love the chaos🤭 I always rehab my alocasias in water, sometimes they just go a bit poop and need som new roots😆

I've had my frydek in my self made pon, which is almost the same as regular Pon but coarser and with a bit of random leca....it's growing in no drainage in a glass vase and has just now been repot after 1,5 years... I also had the green form in Leca for a short while also in no drainage and it seemed to love it as well... I think self watering will be the way to go with this alocasia.... I fertilize it more than my other plants though...

All my alocasia are in pon in ambient low humidity, and doing well so far!

I am struggling with the Pokemon affect with the hybrids. For the seedlings, put them in tree fern and in the cup with a lid - or a humidity cup. You can get a cheap heat map for like $20. Do not use pon for seedlings. Or use fluval and perlite - something like that.
That green shirt is a hit with your skin colour, love it so much, plus, sage-y colours are my fav anyway ❤

I love seeing your big anthurium, but I find they all look so similar until they are big boys. I also notice people are always stuck in the one or two leaf club and they damage so easily. I love seeing yours but I don’t think I could do it myself.

Big fan of you. Really love the way you take care of your plants. Can you please advise me what to do for preventing browning in my monstera albo. I kept them in bright room and doing spraying twice or thrice as i am living in the area where there is less humidy around 30-35. But once it started in old leaves and i can not control it. Kindly guide me what should i do my friend. Love from India))
Sometimes it’s inevitable just because it requires a lot of energy to keep them alive

I have a question about my Philodendron Pink shake. I had it on spagmoss, it was doing great! It had been there for months. I then put in pon on Saturday! And It's in a self watering planter in pon and this morning it's droopy. I took it out , and and the roots were all wet! I hope I caught it in time. I put it in chunky soil mix. Do you think it will be OK now?😢
